A late model (98 up 2L SPI) Ford Escort can be had for real cheap and they get 39mpg highway. Stay away from 1.9L. I bought a '98 Escort wagon/estate/break in excellent condition for $3K.
Yes, there are many crappy MB manufacturers besides ABIT. They didn't admit the problem till it was well-known outside of the company. They only offered to replace in-warranty boards. There is no mention of the capacitor problem on their website.
If you can get your enemy to allow access to their nuclear weapons this would be an excellent approach. Perhaps at the same time you could get them to install transponders on their warheads to make them more identifiable when they are coming your way. This would help greatly in missile defense.
Several years ago the FAA looked into this issue and found cellular handsets didn't interfere with aircraft systems. But they do interfere with the ground-based cellular system by causing the airborne handset to be seen by multiple cells.
Personally, I think if you can't spell anywhere, at anytime, then you shouldn't be typing. United States hand out keyboards too easily. The spelling test should be a rigorous test of skill. Only extremely skilled spellers should be allowed to get behind the keyboard A system like that would have numerous obvious positive effects. One of them would be that reading would be a lot more fun. Mainly because you have confidence in your own ability as well as the ability of others. You wouldn't have to be constantly watching out for what every other word is, but instead be able to have fun worrying about your own spelling.
Jeez Louise, if it's recorded and played back it's not real-time. The argument about the actor not being able to watch the monitor while performing the scene is pointless. It's still not real-time.
Why would a record company sell 2000 albums for $250 when they can sell 15 for the same price? What would they gain? I'm not convinced changing the distribution model will generate more sales. Speaking for myself, better artists would induce me to buy more recorded music. And I don't download, I buy.
That's the best April Fools joke ever. That 'Taco is such a cutup. He's gone over-the-top on this one!!! What next? Microsoft to aquire Sun Microsystems? Har, har.
I'm still using my ASR33. No fancy paper and it uses ribbons. I do have to do my own service since the old guy who worked on them croaked. All I ever print are ASCII-graphics of Snoopy and Starship Enterprise anyway. Plus I like the way it smells.

I've built flawless ABIT systems also. If only they stayed that way. They use crappy components.
And your friend didn't need to buy a "power surge"; he got one for free.
when their crappy MBs blow their crappy capacitors? I'd say you're screwed. I'll never buy anything from ABIT again.
Democracy Now and Amy Goodman must fit in there somewhere.
First it was tooth whitening. Then, it was "Should I poke the middle-aged boss?". And now staying in shape!!! What the hell's going on here?
Why, back in my day we were nerds... and liked it, too!!
POTS lines have always done this.
Why not just do away with on-board pilots and controls all together?

Too bad, huh? We could have been the Hazards of Duke (city).
Hmmm, I never considered machine language on anything a "joy".
Now assemblylanguage on a 6502 is a different story.

Programming it to hump the legs of attractive women?
What you were doing was copying in real-time. Real-time copying ain't rippin'.
