    Seriously, to think Earth is or could be the only planet capable of sustaining life is highly improbable.
    I am going to go out on a limb here and say, there is inteligent life out there and we are not ready to meet it.
    Or ready or not we better grow up and deal with it because we just became as insignificant as a grain of sand.
    These articles seem like they are written for those sensationalist magazines, let's write in more grown up terms.
    Think people are insane now? wait when you tell them aliens have landed on our planet.

    Vista is truly an evolution in what not to do with an OS.

    Microsoft's incessant up sales of different versions of just about everything they offer is truly a lesson in extreme confusion.

    I spend hours on trying to read through thier different product lines just so my company doesn't have to spend a fortune on crap we will never use or we overpay for.

    I spent a week with it (Vista) and I was not going to spend any more time with an OS that was running on a top of the line Dell laptop with 2GB of memory and a 256mb graphics card that still had performance issues and software compatibility issues.
    Cisco VPN?

    Win2k was a godsend from Windows 98 and NT4.0, XP and 2003 were an even better step up. But Vista? WTH? They need to recompile and optimize. If it takes till service pack 2 to do it then they need to do that before they unleash anymore of their BS unfinished products to the market.

    Like some people who read forums they automatically respond without reading the whole article and in this case I didn't make an exception and didn't need to read further.

    If you go to the website and run the vulnerability checker you will find I.E. 6 has the same problem.

    So to raise the sky is falling alert is premature in a sense, but any bad news is good news to alert people to the exisiting fact that I.E. is unsafe at any version.

    I hope he gets to keep his job but you know how that sort of stuff works out in the end.

    This is the sort of BS that pops up years latter when service men and women who are serving aboard these vessels and discover the gear is faulty,blowing up or sinking.

    Makes for great politics and in the end nobody is to blame and it becomes yesterdays news and all you have to show for it is dead service men.

    Then we will pledge a witty saying "we will never forget" Yeah we will.

    A lot these government contracts are big freaking wastes of money due to the fact that a lot of companies short change the system or by the time the contracts are approved the specifications change and it takes another 2 years to approve the changes. That means more money for the companies who's 3 year contract is extended for 10years.
