    ONE person can fake up a theory that immunizations cause autism in an effort to make himself rich, and thousands will believe him. What makes you think creationism would be any different. People believe whatever they want, even when there is a total lack of evidence or even if the evidence is easily proven to be fraud. They just want someone they can blame, or someone they can sue, as long as they can make it so it isn't their own fault.

    Whatever you do, expect it to break on you because of:
    1. Microsoft update
    2. Adobe update.
    3. Java update.
    4. A field overflow deep within Windows.
    5. Random licensing failure.
    6. Some random app crashes.
    7. Someone on the network updated their version of Word, causing your database access to fail.
    8. Hackers.
    9. Virii ...

    And, it will probably takes weeks to find the problem and then get it working again, for a little while.

    Let's build a ROV out of duct tape and bailing twine, then crash it into an Afganistan mountain (drop it from a helicopter if necessary). Get the media to report on the lost "stealth" aircraft, then let Al Queda waste their time and money trying to find it and pull it off the mountain.

    But if you have it, Captain Kirk will use it in almost every movie. These things are expensive! He's probably destroyed 50 enterprises so far, and half of them were destroyed because he gave the computer confusing instructions. You don't need explosives when you have computers!

    Which kind of brings us back to the idea of this as basically a more complicated equivalent of a gas tax...

    If you think that this will replace the current gas tax, forget that. This will be in addition to it. Obama doesn't believe that you are paying your fair share of taxes, so he needs to get additional ways of increasing his fair share. He needs more of your and your great-great-grandchildrens income to pay off the Chinese loans he made in his first quarter, plus more for the additional loans after that.

    I've always preferred PostgreSQL anyway. It never acted as squirrely as mySQL always did for me (personal opinion).

    Yes, he's already accomplished so many of his campaign promises. he's shut down Gitmo, He's got all of our troops out of Afghanistan and Iraq. He's destroyed the health care system. Unemployment has never been over 8%. He's made the houses things bipartisan. No more political meetings with the other party left out. No more secretive closed door meetings.

    Well, 1 successful campaign promise anyway. That should be worth a couple more Nobel Prizes.
