    But, the previous ice age was caused by humans. Man overusedtheir vehicles, causing massive global climate change. Just watch the Flintstones, and you can see how much they were overusing their industrial technology. This obviously caused the climatic collapse, directly leading to the Ice Age. I took a vote, among my various gmail accounts, and came to this consensus, thus scientifically proving it.

    From Star Trek, we know that advanced computers will explode if you give them an impossible problem. So give it one of these problems, and if it doesn't explode, it isn't advanced enough. They are also good at killing people in gruesome ways, but testing that will probably get you in trouble.

    I don't think that the developers purpose of these gns is to be undetectable, but to bypass gun registration.

    However, if that is your goal, then you could just make plastic ammo. A plastic bullet may not be as heavy as a metal one, and the casing might be a bit dangerous, but the right plastic may make it passable.

    Remember, right now the fabrication machines are in their infancy. Just look at how computers have evolved. If these things evolve like computers have, simple guns like these will be the least of your problems.

    But, a more important development would be an assault rubber band gun, with a 30+ clip.

    Instead of simulating a human brain, wouldn't it be better to start with something simplier. There is a worm that they have mapped out all of it's ells, from the egg up to fully grown. It wouldn't be much on conversation, but wouldn't it be better to simulate something like that to start with?

    And when the experiment is over, you wouldn't have to worry about the ethics of "killing" it.

    This administration is the most open, and honest that has ever existed. Haven't they been telling us this throughout Obamas campaign?

    Just see how open and hosest they've been about Benghazi. As soon as it happened, we learned it was only because of a video that an individual had made. It was not a terrorist attack. We even have a film producer in prison for it, so it must be true. Anyway, it all george W Bushes fault.

    And then there's Obamacare, which will only cost 900 billion over 10 years. No wait, thate 2.6 trillion, since it's now law. No, wait, that only before it starts to get implemented, the price will be a bit higher than that when it really starts. But not to worry, congress plans to exempt themselves from it, because the offordable health care plan is too expensive for them. Anyway, it's all George W Bushes fault.

    Then there's the new IRS targeting conservative groups. Definatle George W Bushes fault, since it started in 2011. Obama didn't take office until, ummm, 2016?

    A large percentage of the population doesn't care how something works. Al of their devices might be operating on magic, for all they care. If you ask the how something works, they'll show you what buttons they push, but will be unable to give an approximately correct answer to how the hardware does what it does.;

    How does a microwave oven heat up their pasta? How does an optical mouse work? What happened to the antenna on their cell phone, and what is a cell? How does a touch panel know where you touched it? Why does their electric car (the volt for example) require gas? Why do all electronic devices require different chargers? What secret information is hidden in bar codes?

    I'd guess that the ability to generate laser pulses with sufficient energy to destroy a boat while being small enough to not sink its transport would be a sufficiently difficult problem, that they decided not to make it harder by requiring wavelengths that they were currently not technically prepared for,

    That, or the sharks refused to handle the other colors.

    Will there be a "lame" filter on the list of games available?

    And what happens if you don't pay for a game? Do you only get a "demo" version which a cash transaction unlocks?

    Makes one wonder why the accident is so high, considering that only TMI has happened in the US, and that was a fart in the wind.

    It's not that the accident rate is high, it's because the insurance rates are so high. They made a TV movie about a load of used rubber gloves being transported by train exploding in a nuclear blast. What would you expect the insurance companies to do?

    New conditions on nuclear power designs? Why bother? The US hasn't build a new nuclear generator in over 30 years. The terrified low information anti-nuclear groups have enough power to keep the politicians (who only care about getting voted in yet again) from permitting one to be built. Ban a plant, get 3 additional votes, it's a done deal.
