    And too much knowledge present at one time can be a hinderance too.

    Think of times when you are driving, trying to find an exit and there are way too many road signs.

    Removing clutter and too much information is also very important in getting work done.

    It's a Finder preference. Press command comma. The first checkbox is "Show all filename extensions".

    Honestly, I think the original Mac OS did it better with four character file type and creators; meta-properties that the file can have.

    You still have not identified what a soul is. You are saying that souls are distressed people and that they are to be "saved". Nowhere have I seen that a soul == a distressed person.

    What about all the other godless people who are not distressed? Are they not souls? Are they not required to be "saved" (whatever that means).

    Honestly, your defiition of what constitutes a soul seems to be "only sad people", which seems very arbitrary and strange.

    it looks like ass on my Mac and too many buttons don't have backgrounds until I mouseover them.

    There are also loads of text layout issues.

    Completely sucks.

    We would have already been living on Mars for quite some time.

    What is good for the individuals living in a civilization is not good for the advancement of the civilization.

    As long as it does not tear itself apart, but encourages competition, the civilization will advance faster.

    Not sure how fast the civilization would advance if everyone cooperated. That makes life too easy and there is no motivation to advance fast.

    Civilizations advance fast during wartime and with inter-country competition.

    That sucks for the populations of the civilizations, but civilization as a whole advances faster because of it.
