    CJ is not a pornographic website. It's more dark humour and general lowest common denominator. Actually, you should read some of their archived front page articles; the authors are actually quite funny and intelligent, in a deplorable and crued sort of way.

    The main page also has a good PDF document regarding legal issues when developing software that emulates Windows functions.

    Just because something's utterly legal doesn't mean a megacorp isn't going to sue you into the stone age for potentially hurting their bottom line.

    Seriously, isn't this what MS tried to do (the literal objects representing files and environment, not the 3D part)? They're probably trying to beat Apple to the punch (this is a plausible, and, by many, expected course for their 'ease-of-use' direction; maybe a new WM for iMacs, only?), but how quickly we forget Microsoft's little "innovation", ten years earlier.

    ...among geeks, is WoW the most anticipated MMORPG, but the most anticipated MMO among the general populace was Star Wars: Galaxies, and we all know how that turned out. But, then again, Lucasarts and Sony are pretty hit-or-miss, but Blizzard has a flawless record. Still, beware the overhyped crap.

    I agree with your point, but might I suggest Mozilla? Yeah, I know it's hard to get started with something new, like this, but it's definately worth it. Hell, despite my geeky interests, I'm somewhat of a technophobe, for both hardware and software, myself. But my switch from IE to Moz was the most drastic improvement in any tech change I've ever made. I look back on such auto-install dialogs, on pop-ups and javascript errors and the rest of that crap with almost a fond nostalgia towards a memory I'm barely sure ever actually happened.
