Just leaving is nothing I would consider at all, as long as your job is not flipping burgers.
The norm/law in Norway is the next 3 full calendar months outside the "trail period" - within, normally a month. And it goes both ways. Yes, you might be put on garden leave if you quit, but you are still being paid.
And considering the planning and training of a replacement, 3 months isn't always enough. I am glad I am not an American employer.
I am voting electronically this year in the Norwegian election. If somebody is stupid enough to give me money for voting for a certain party, then let them. I can vote as many times as I want, and it is only the last vote that counts. If I want to be even more evil, I can vote by paper as well, and let the guy paying money to see me vote on the net be there until the end. The paper vote superseded the electronic one.
Nah, I think it is more related to Britain having scientists involved when deciding which science to stick their finger in, while US science is ultimately decided by congress and senate. Which means Brits get to do the cool stuff.
Counting the money before you open is standard procedure when you're not the only person using the register. I do this every time I am tending bars. It is also not difficult to keep control of the change you give back. I have never had a negative difference in my register, and the positive is tips I leave in the register when we're short of any type of coins. By the way, we're one of those small businesses in Norway that would have to cash out for something we do not need.
Learning, yes, the same way learning Windows is hard. However, installing and using both are not that different. The biggest one I think is that you don't have to visit 50 different sites hunting for that missing driver that didn't install automatically if you're using Linux...
You obviously haven't used Notes since the 90's when outlook was non-existing. The company I work for switched from Notes to a MS-solution a couple of years ago, and I hear more and more of the users wanting to go back to it! An MS based solution with Exchange and Sharepoint might be easier to set up for the sys-admins, but for users, domino is a far better choice! It just works a lot better and the systems are more integrated with each other.
Because not every track is under the ground. If there is a hold-up somewhere, it delays everything.

You can even come across it in Norway.
Horse is not a reserve food. One of the best steaks I have ever had was horse meat.
There is always the bathtub...

History is important! Nationalism is not...
... makes understanding why there are people wanting no gun control easier. It is just selfish.
But if people stopped using their mobile while operating a vehicle, they would decline even more! That is the issue here!

If it's suicide by firearms, then yes, it's related to the availability
I stopped playing FPS because of the new functions you mentioned above.
I can only speak for myself, but I spend far more time gaming on 90s titles than I do on the current ones
Think we need to "create" the Belters first, but this is a great first step!
Let me guess - republican?
True. There are however other articles in Norwegian confirming that this is OSS software.
Good luck trying to do this in Norway.

My One rule while drinking: if you change venue, you start counting from 1
Everyday, we're one step closer to finding it!
We see no evidence of this. especially since most of China is very sparsely populated.

Could you replace often with always?
