Well, this thread is either going to be one person saying this is good and one person saying it's bad, or otherwise we all get to express our opinion:-P
As someone who only started watching the series after it was cancelled (and then watched at least one every night until he had seen them all) I am tentatively excited about this:)
"Imagine the chagrin of all the other sites served by Tucows when they all go down en masse and imagine the PR campaign that Blue Security is going to have to wage to get any credibility back."
In the past, I witnessed a speeding, fleeing felon hit a power-pole and take out a block's power. This man had no respect for anyone but himself, had already done people damage, and was in the process of being subdued by rightful authority. Was it a bummer that power was out for a few hours? Sure. Did we "blame" the police for the actions of this complete fuck-up? No.
People, please... We are supposed to represent a sector of society that esteems knowledge. How can we be taken seriously if we don't each at least master one language?
When programming, a single error can cripple the entire program. Why is it that many of us can manage to use C++ to a perfect degree, but can't use English at the 5th grade level?
Parallel Path is a quantum leap in electromagnetic motor technology
At least they're being honest. As a scientist would know, (and they purport to be scientists), a quantum leap is the absolute least amount something can move without standing still. And they didn't say whether it was a leap forwards or backwards.
So basically they probably mean that this is a tiny tiny step backwards for them. I'll can believe that.
You'll see from the history of this thread that I'm more than happy to discuss. You just want to berate with inane pseudo-points until logical people give up on you, then stand there and say "that's what I thought."
That's on par for a nervously unsure agnostic. Good luck with that decision.
Do you think you're entitled to never have your feelings hurt?

I found that extremely offensive. Should I have taken him to court over it?

Why do you keep asking nonsense questions? I never suggested any such thing.
I believe I asked you quite a while ago if you were interested in *rational* debate. I may or may not have you confused with someone else, but either way I can see you have quite the chip on your shoulder, and are therefore not interested in such debate. Good day.
Full disclosure: I try to practice the teachings of Christ.
In some circles of America, it is hip and mod to insult Christ. Check out online discussions and Fark photoshop contests. You are pretty much guaranteed an image belittling Christ's execution now and then, especially when any other religion is mentioned. It's all a funny laugh, and anyone who protests finds themselves in the hotseat.
I know as well as anyone else the history of Christianity, and the horrible things that the Catholic cult and radical right-to lifers have done in the near and distant past in the name of Christ. Once, Catholics nearly ruled the western world and put whom they saw as blasphemers to death and unimaginable torture. Fast-forward to today, where in western society, religion is optional, and it is the secular world who persecutes with indemnity.
I guess my point is that the human struggles to be free to make his own decisions. Any person or group that tries to overcome this will itself eventually be overcome. I would like to think that in time, radical Islam will find the same fate radical Christianity found.
Ahhh, good catch. I didn't even think Parent wouldn't just copy and paste. And if he did, there's yet ANOTHER Chief Editor post for which I should apply!:-P
A marine I once knew introduced me to the term "Kludge" (he pronounced it KLOOJ). It is a hastily-assembled, inelegant fix to an otherwise fragile construct.
I love physics, but beware any time a physicist says "I've found something that changes/that I can change to fit in my otherwise not-completely-working theories."
This isn't to say it's not true. The universe is peculiar. But beware.

Just don't mess it up. It ended so well.
should be "you, in turn, send an email to a stranger, without even any purpose?"
So whenever you recieve an unsolicited email that actually has a purpose (selling stuff), you send a stranger without even any purpose?
To what end?
PharmaMaster, is that you?
:-P :-/
eek! Let's not get THAT tag pinned on me!
Actually, I probably reported several thousand spams to our dear departed.
We must pay obesience to the owners
What a cromulent notion!
Wow are you dense.
Ladies and gentleman, this man is so dense, he cannot be x-rayed.
"OCTOR (sOft robotiC manipulaTORs)"
SHENANIGANS.

Would you?
I seriously wonder.
A reply to me gets modded up 4 and I get modded down? Lol.
MOD PARENT UP.

*sigh*. Preview calls me, but I do not answer.

It's all religious persecution, which should be below a civilised society.
That's fine. Where is it written to bow and pray to golden idols of Jesus' mom?
So religious persecution is okay as long as it's not physical?
Lets hope your ideal world is not brought into reality.
"Secular folks are condemning Catholics to "death and unimaginable torture?""
Yes. That's exactly what I said. Way to keep a debate rational there.

"[...] the vulnerability was detected by an unnamed person around Dec. 1, 2005."
Ok, what are the chances that this person really has no name?!
I'm going to have to call shenanigans on this whole article.

What's important is finding a complete vertebrae in a body so small," he said.
Obviously, what is NOT important is plurality-matching...

Re-fucking-lax.
My British friends celebrate July Fourth as "Good Riddance Day".
:-P In other news, British need another reason to go drink? lol
That's pretty sad, my friend.
