    Pay attention to the bottom of the takedown request:

    Fuck that "it was an accident" argument, and prosecute them for perjury.

    That allegation, as I understand it, is that after having had protected sex with the lady the evening before, she woke up in the morning to discover him having unprotected sex with her.

    Unless you believe that the consent to protected sex from the night before includes consent to unprotected sex the next morning, he was having sex with her without her consent. Therefore it would be rape.

    Perhaps, but as he would have to leave the embassy and make it to Buckingham Palace to present those credentials, and he'll be arrested the moment he sets foot on the pavement, it won't ever reach the point where his credentials are refused.

    Yes, it was rape, unless you believe that consenting once to having protected sex means that you've automatically consented to having unprotected sex in the future.

    In order to qualify for diplomatic immunity, you have to present your credentials to the host country and have them accepted.

    I expect the British government would absolutely love for Assange to try that, as he'd have to come out the embassy to do it.

    It looks to me as if he went for an HDR treatment of the image, which would also explain the alleged 3 RAW files in it - if he used the same RAW each time but with an altered exposure level to get the dynamic range he wanted.

    Aah. Every story i've read (and I haven't paid that much attention to this beyond making sure I wasn't infected), has oversimplified it to "The FBI took over the running of the DNS servers".

    I stand corrected on that point, my apologies.

    I entirely stand by the "they should just have let the infectees internet access die so they're forced to fix their problems and learn about the importance of security" part of my comment though :)

    ... the victims would have noticed that their internet was cut off, and had to take steps to fix the problem then and there.

    But presumably somebody at the FBI realised that they could collect all that lovely data on where everybody was going on the internet, and all without the need for a single warrant
