I am glad that ReplaTV is staying in the game. It just goes to show that a great product does stand a chance in the market if you beleieve in it enough. Marketing and advertising dollars should not determine what makes it in the industry and what doesn't. I hope they are here to stay this time.
Expect a law to be passed soon prohibiting this type of action. I think it is a great idea, but the telco companies will surely not stand for thie type of thing.
I don't want some cheap ass satellites falling on my house because they were not built Ford Tough. How did they launch these satellites and why did NASA let them?
I actually read a while ago that Disney was not happy with Miyazaki's Princess Mononoke and wanted him to edit the film to give it a a G rating. Miyazaki declined and said that if he has to edit his films, he will go through another company. I am sure that this upset DEisney quite a bit.
I heard that Verizon had turned this down saying they cannot keep track of everyone. Looks like some ISP's are going to monitor people. I would find out if your does...before you are behind bars.
This is a very sad day. Many discoverers in the past were considered outcasts but are often thought of as geniuses in todays time. Hopefully the same will stand true.
There have been many set top boxes based off of Linux code that have failed. This is nothing new and will prolly fail as well since no set top boxes in development will make it.
I have heard a lot of about Quantum computers, I bet DT does a feature on what they are are etc.. very soon. This is the technology that will change the world.
I am not surprised to hear this at all. Bluetooth technology has been marketed to consumers terribly. No one knows what Bluetooth is, where it came from or what benifits it has. The new 802.11b standard is showing up all over the place and will probably end up replacing bluetooth despite its security and technological flaws.
If Linux plays their cards right, this could just be the launch pad they need. Many schools in the past have used Apple computers due to lower costs and donations of the systems. If Linux is able to get in with the younger students, as the students grow, they will more likely stay with the familiar operating system.
So when will this BIOS be available to consumers?

I have a friend that is doing the same thing. His website is www.otakupc.com come check it out.
And how much is this going to cost the tax payer??

Everyone get down, everyone dance, big brother is watching.
Designtechnica should have a preview and review of one of these phones soon. Check there to see when they willl show up.
I cant remember when Nintendo launched a console on time.
Beam me up Scotty, Ioman is entering your PDA!

How long was the average user down? It might justify asking for a refund if the ammount was large enough.
This is pretty dumb. I have never heard of anything like this. Apple is getting desperate in their advertising and marketing.
This is really sad. I think the artists need to be upset with the RIAA. Get some balls and stand up to them. Stop picking on the little guys.

I have been playing MAME for years and would love to see it on the Xbox. DT will prolly talk about this soon too.
Go to DT instead.
I submitted this news a couple days ago. More news like this can be found here .

I read over at DT about Excite laying off 200 employees.
