    Actually, GM did have a 90% share early on.

    What we always forget in these discussions it that the western computer market is mature and there's not a lot more money to be made.
    The new, fast growing markets are in the far east and who knows how that will play out? MS could be toppled by a nimble new firm from Bangalore, Beijing, Bangkok or somesuch. We spend a lot of money teaching them how to build software for western firms. Do you think they will be our employees forever?

    My sister got her doctorate a few years ago when she was pregnant with her second child. I think it worked for her since nobody in their right mind messes around with the Angry Pregnant Lady. At least not more then once.

    It's not stupidity, it's disinformation. There have been so many people spewing outdated information, misleading statistics and other sorts of nonsense that it's almost impossible to discuss it rationally.

    If that were the case why haven't they donated their compiler backend to GCC?
    The Intel compiler for Linux is quite good (so I'm told) and since that's not a money maker for them you'd think they would make it part of GCC.

    The mandatory athletics are what keep me out of gyms. Just the smell brings back a lot of bad memories.
    I'm from the generation where gym was for giving ego strokes to the athletes and humiliation to non-athletes.
    Hopefully gym has evolved into a way of teaching lifelong physical fitness habits.

    If you've got insomnia go see a ENT and have yourself checked for sleep apnea. I had apnea for many, many years. When I had the sleep study done I found out that I wasn't sleeping for more then 10 minutes at a time. Now I sleep with a CPAP and it makes all the difference in the world. If you're not sleeping nothing else you do will go well.

    When it comes to the business of games I listen to N. They are the only company that is in the market to make money by selling game hardware and software. Not media centers, not set top boxes. Game systems and games.

    It was a joke. I know what the PS3 is. I just don't care. Since their hardware quality has gone so far downhill I just don't see myself buying a PS3.

    Adblock plus has been on https://addons.mozilla.org/ for a while now. You are right. Adblock Plus + Adblock Filterset G rocks.
