No, this is another case of "a better product is nearly indistinguishable from the old so nobody's buying the new one".

The people will stop at 4K TVs, a lot of us have even stopped at 1080p. Hell, I stream Netflix in 720p on my 1080p and it's good enough for me.

Not to mention that if we stop at 4K (or even 1080P) it means all future GPU upgrades will make the games look better at faster framerates instead of barely being able to keep up with the increase in the number of pixels.

That was a good movie, at least when I watched it as a kid. I remember thinking "we'll never had graphics this good on our home game systems". LOL stupid younger me.

The notion that it could be some sort of plesiosaur is just absurd because there would have to be a population of them and that would be impossible to hide even in an ocean much less 7.5 km^3 of water.

Why would it need to be a population of them? You mean to tell me plesiosaurs don't have lifespans of a few million years? I'm shocked!

The Link is such a product which got made and the quality is as perfect as it could be. People took the chance because there was no alternatives.

To be more precise, you are helping the manufacturing costs of a product that may or may not get made.

For a good example, look at the PodRide. Interesting idea, but going from a single hand-made prototype to optimizing the parts for manufacturing has cost them a lot more than they thought, both in money and time.
