Penalties will range from fines upto $400,000 and 3 - 10 years for having source code, binaries or t-shirts. Right now a stampede of politicians around the world are figuring out how this is already illigal and what they can do to make this more illigal, dodgy corporate mafia types are also on the case, wondering how they can use it to cover their government bribing even more - expect under-the-table deals and war/oil contracts to be done over IM from now on...

1984 was about a constant war as an excuse to keep people in check, we've already arrived - the war on terror can never be declared over because terrorism is a noun, not something you can defeat, notice how it could have been called the war on Al-Qaeda? a slightly more realistic goal. This is Bush's pathetic little buzzword thats been adopted by every government around the world, its never going to go away and its defination is always going to become broader.

Set up your mail to automatically look for 'opt-out' links and access them - and even fill in the form automatically - now for the bonus, if you get any mail from that place after 24 hours your program should hit the opt-out 10 times with 9 non-existant email accounts, if they still dont stop mailing you you keep doubling that 20, 40, 80 etc. If they are infact using the opt-out form to check if your account is real/read then they will start trying to spam all the other accounts (that don't exist) too. By even having an opt-out link that takes you to a web-page they are giving you an open door to hit them with, take advantage of it and kick them in the balls.

Because Politicians + Money = Corruption, therefore Corruption + Suggestion of stopping bribery = No Can Do. Its a bad system and the only way to stop it is to get into power and start making some of that lovely money - you'll soon forget about all this corruption bull-crap.
