Deportation is simply a good way to get rid of non-citizens in lieu of prosecution or when you are unable to for some reason (evidence, that sort of thing.) Instead of going to the effort, you just make them go away. Individuals are subject to the laws of the country they are in, it does not matter a damn if they are from there or not. The fact that they can be expelled has no relation to to whether or not US laws might protect them. Your argument is not valid.

What he was saying was to pay off credit card debt, THEN save, not that you should pay credit card debt to the exclusion or detriment of your other bills. That's two very different situations. Saving simply will give you (in almost all cases) a lower return than 12-15-18-21-24% savings you see if not having to pay credit card interest. However, this does not mean that your advice regarding priorities of which bills to pay wasn't good.

Thanks to export of Western culture, they will hear of this wonderful place where the streets are made of gold, nobody has to work, and everything is given to you. They'll either come to where they think that place is and in all likelihood, be unable to find that world, or simply hate from afar. They'll be pissed off and resentful. More folks who don't like the west and would be more than happy to have it pulled down from it's high horse. It's not simply resource consumption where this causes a problem.
