It depends. Some places won't take any ID other than the state ID (drivers license or otherwise.) There is a wide variety of what constitutes acceptable ID...most of it quite stupid, actually.
Deportation is simply a good way to get rid of non-citizens in lieu of prosecution or when you are unable to for some reason (evidence, that sort of thing.) Instead of going to the effort, you just make them go away. Individuals are subject to the laws of the country they are in, it does not matter a damn if they are from there or not. The fact that they can be expelled has no relation to to whether or not US laws might protect them. Your argument is not valid.
Wait wait wait....did you say Space: Above and Beyond was GOOD? It was the most horrible crap. The writing was terrible. OTOH, you can see where they tried, and they did some decent things, but the crap pretty well outmassed then good by a long shot.
Heh. What's wrong with you? Did you forget what board you are on? GUI Bad!:)
Seriously tho, making something more accessible instead of cryptic opens it up for more people. It changes the "small town / exclusive club feel" but you can't sit around forever hoping things never change, either. There may always be a place for those types of things, but without changing they will never be more than a tiny niche product.
Heh. That explains it. Athens is a college town with pretty much no other reason to exist. It's all dirt cheap. --- That's not a knock, lived there for a while. I miss Guthrie's and the T Stand a whole lot, not to mention the bars.:)
What he was saying was to pay off credit card debt, THEN save, not that you should pay credit card debt to the exclusion or detriment of your other bills. That's two very different situations. Saving simply will give you (in almost all cases) a lower return than 12-15-18-21-24% savings you see if not having to pay credit card interest.
However, this does not mean that your advice regarding priorities of which bills to pay wasn't good.
If this is about Star Wars, and you are a contractor, watch out. Them pesky rebels have a tendency to blow up Death Stars with flagrant disregard for the lives of the independant contractors working there just trying to make a living.
In like Flynn as a phrase actually refers to Errol Flynn being a well known ladies man. The spy spoof that Coburn was in was making a play on this phrase, much the same way Austin Powers plays on anything Bond-related.
That's easy. Somebody who worked there got pissed off about something the company or their boss was doing, and decided to blow the whistle. RIAA didn't find them, somebody outed them.
If you really think the Russians (government, that is!) care too much about some foreigners getting themselves killed in what any fool would recognize is a potentially dangerous situation, you are forgetting how little they cared about quite a few of their own citizens who died in some freezing water not too long ago...
...but they're using so much less...
What you are failing to realize is that eventually that poor Ugandan child (multiplied rather a lot of course, plus all the other countries where it will have analogues) will eventually get pissed off about the lack of resources they have. Thanks to export of Western culture, they will hear of this wonderful place where the streets are made of gold, nobody has to work, and everything is given to you. They'll either come to where they think that place is and in all likelihood, be unable to find that world, or simply hate from afar. They'll be pissed off and resentful. More folks who don't like the west and would be more than happy to have it pulled down from it's high horse. It's not simply resource consumption where this causes a problem. Marx may have been off on some things, but it doesn't take a genius to see that widening gaps between haves and have nots causes a problem.
What a crap idea this is. It ranks right up there with Cold Fusion in terms of absolute unbelievability. Next you'll be saying you could fly into outer space, right?
Because if you don't have at least some semblance of variety, eating the exact same thing day in and day out, you'll start throwing those damn things up a whole lot faster. You try eating the exact same thing 2-3 times a day for a month and see if you can still stand it, it's harder than you'd think.
Used to be a disclaimer on each box that they have been stored in temperature and humidity controlled conditions and date of pack should not be considered when determining usage. FWIW, I doubt it matters toooo much, since I've had several that were well over 5 years old, and I got no sicker off those than brand spanking new ones.:)
Some of them you can work with, and some are just plain nasty, much like anything else I suppose.
God forgive me being pedantic but there's no such thing as a turrent.
Well, not if he's a Catholic prie...never mind.
Not really valid is it? Unless you misstated, you haven't been asked for ID, which is different from having unacceptable ID.
It depends. Some places won't take any ID other than the state ID (drivers license or otherwise.) There is a wide variety of what constitutes acceptable ID...most of it quite stupid, actually.
IIRC, as they are in Gauntanamo, a US military base, they ARE on US soil the same as they would be were they in a US embassy in a foreign country.

Yeah. I saw that one too, and was including it with the first season. :)

Heh...what do you reckon sabot rounds are? :)
Doesn't matter -- you've already fired all the Animals.

Come on man! Why do you think people have shoulders on either side of their head? FOOTRESTS!

Things must be going very well for them, not being able to stop the work to update some silly site. :)

Losing?
There's been Peanut Butter and Jelly since before 1990.
