  1. Oh for FFS do they even look at quality? on Facebook Rejects Female Engineers' Code More Often Than Male Counterparts, Analysis Finds (theverge.com) · · Score: -1

I hate this type of clickbait shit, is their any mention of the quality of the code? if it performed correctly, did it pass unit tests? This is as bad as the high school science fair showing bottled water doesn't let a plant grow.

  2. Well they have enough money now on India's Infosys To Hire 10,000 American Workers After Trump Criticism (bloomberg.com) · · Score: -1

They have been draining the US of jobs for so long they have enough money to do it.

  3. Coal was easy on The Cheap Energy Revolution Is Here, and Coal Won't Cut It (bloomberg.com) · · Score: -1

Coal was an easy target for Trump to get alot of votes and show his support for the common working man, something that Hillary never understood. He knows the numbers but he doesn't care, people would rather be told they lost their jobs due to market economics, then some government group is FORCING them to loose their jobs.

  7. Release open source on Should The FBI Have Arrested 'The Hacker Who Hacked No One'? (thedailybeast.com) · · Score: -1

I think the summary is that federal groups don't care and and there are probably enough judges that don't understand the tech well enough to allow them to get warrants. This seems to be the carrot/stick analogy - beat developers with a stick if they try to develop tools alone and force them to seek shelter under major corporations. Obviously vnc, powershell and a million other tools are exactly the same as this tool but they don't care. In the cases I have read, there has to be some profit motive for the arrest, maybe I have missed it but if it's released open source I haven't seen anyone arrested for that yet?

  8. Yeah I love how twitter runs to free speech when it aligns with their political idealism, but plays dumb when it's terrorism or anything regarding democrats.
