  1. Good for Microsoft. I have a Windows Phone and like it well enough. It is also rooted. It started with Windows Mobile 8.1 when I bought it, and I migrated it to Windows 10 Mobile. My wife has the same phone, but did not want to update to Windows 10. I was wondering what I would do when the phone gave up the ghost because I find both IOS and Android to be unacceptable and to open to malware. There is hope for Windows Phone again.

  2. Just amazing... on Security Analyst Concludes Windows 10 Enterprise 'Tracks Too Much' (xato.net) · · Score: -1

That Windows 10 has so much tracking and yet when I tell people how to shut it down and remove the binaries, including Cortana, I get down voted to terrible karma.

For the record folks, all of the spyware and call home software in W10 can be removed from any version, except may W10 S,I have not had the time to play with it and would not because it is limited. However, there is a price to pay if you want it secure and do not want everything reenabled/reinstalled on a future update. Security does have a cost, Linux too. Yes, even Linux has locating and call home software.

  3. The warranty of merchantability is implied, unless expressly disclaimed by name, or the sale is identified with the phrase "as is" or "with all faults." To be "merchantable", the goods must reasonably conform to an ordinary buyer's expectations, i.e., they are what they say they are. For example, a fruit that looks and smells good but has hidden defects would violate the implied warranty of merchantability if its quality does not meet the standards for such fruit "as passes ordinarily in the trade". In Massachusetts consumer protection law, it is illegal to disclaim this warranty on household goods sold to consumers.

Sue them if they make a change that disables normal expected use.

  8. While I will not absolutely say that Stanford University economist Tony Seba is wrong. I will say that Stanford University economist Tony Seba might want to stop wearing his politics on his sleeve. Things may change, but AI for cars is not that advanced and I do not see it advancing to the point that states will allow AI driverless cars very quickly.

  9. I think I prefer my TI-89 Platinum and my HP-50G. At least they do not try to second guess me and ask if I truly want to close the page when I shut them off. Now if Maplesoft was allowed, it would be something to crow about.

Yesterday, a CNN article and a New York Times article presented the case that Liberals are becoming conspiracy theorists over Trump. Need we wonder why?
