  4. If Congress cuts their funding then the NWS should only do forecasting for states that Congress critters didn't vote against funding. So if the NJ senators vote against funding...no weather forecasts for NJ. That way we cut down on the cost and the NWS cuts down on their workload.

    Spectre and Meltdown flaws or planned? Has anybody asked this question yet? Or should I say 'Have the right people asked this question yet?' Hardware is good right now. Good and stable and reliable. That being said what is the incentive for manufacturers if their stuff doesn't break down? Artificial flaws maybe? How do we get out of this cycle if it is artificially imposed by the manufacturers? This is something that has to include everyone: buyers and makers.

  12. When is the last time you saw a big rig pull up to your local Chevron to fill up its gas tank? They are merely trying to separate commercial fleets from non-commercial fleets. Just like with normal ICE taxis, big rigs, construction, etc.
