Not to mention that the idea in the post I replied to that blinking the eyes would click the mouse would be rather unworkable as well, since we can't always control when we blink. If you need to use some 'hand on a button' to enable 'blink to click' then it defeats the purpose and you might as well just use the button to click.
Human's eyes dart around way too much for that to really be workable IMO. As an adjunct to a mouse for fast targeting it might have gaming and military applications though.
The Earth's gravity is not nearly strong enough to keep molecular hydrogen trapped. You might get a few water molecules formed that way, but most of any free hydrogen escaped as is.
I think it would be more accurate though to state that MOST water was probably created via the mechanism described in the article. I'm pretty sure there was some fraction of water that was created through other mechanisms.
Yes, but Tron was supposed to look that way. To me the trailers look like they wanted to have it both ways; make it all cartoonish but with real people running around in it.
The race courses in the cartoon actually looked MORE REALISTIC than the ones in the movie trailers. They should have either done an all CGI cartoon OR used live action with realistic looking CGI enhancements.
This is all just my opinion of course, but I was really, really dissapointed. Judging from a lot of the comments in this discussion I'd say I'm not the only one.
I was incredibly dissapointed by the trailers. The juxtaposition of real people with cartoonish surrondings was jarring to me. I loved the cartoon as a child (yes I'm old), but I think I'll wait for the DVD on this movie, if I see it at all.
I agree that they shouldn't be allowed to sue, but personallyif I am looking for a specific company that's what I'm looking for. If I want 'grocery stores' I will search for grocery stores, if I want 'Tesco' then I am just looking for that one store.
That being said, I think lawsuits like this are a load of crap that twist the meaning and intent of trademarks.
Every house or apartment I've ever lived in used natural gas to heat the water. I don't know the actual breakdown but I believe the vast majority of hot water heaters in the US use gas or oil to heat them, not electricity.
The best thing Apple could do in that regard is open source 'Open' Directory and stop worrying about a server OS platform. Think of all the Macs that would sell if suddenly enterprises who were interested in Macs but didn't want to add yet another server OS to their data centers could just install OD as a software package on whatever OS they chose.
Actually they probably will save soldier's lives. That doesn't mean they aren't creepy or that they won't be misused by Governments, but having little spybots to reconnoiter, especially in an urban setting, most certainly will save some lives.
I think you've hit the nail on the head. RTFA and at the end you'll see how he compares himself to John the Baptist. The man needs help before HE hurts someone.
I really see no reason to use any commercial Unix variant on servers given the maturity of Linux and BSD in that space. As another poster said, maybe they should get OUT of the server buisness altogether.
I would submit that it's the opposite. Computers made it so easy to just hit "print" and get a hardcopy that people do it a lot more than if they had to handwrite or type everything. I believe you're mistaken.
You don't seem to understand that Iran is lead by a cabal of theocrats who think that they are doing God's work. They do not care if they will be wiped out as long as Al Madhi comes back and makes everything 'right'
Most public wi-fi spots are so saturated with traffic that IP telphony is next to useless. When you have 50 people all swilling nasty over roasted Starbucks coffee while watching Youtube videos you are not going to get a very good IP-phone connection.
It's become way too political, and it never was supposed to be. The main reason China was even chosen was politics, to show that they were 'coming out' into the world as a good citizen.
No, I am not insane, but the leadership of Iran is just insane enough to USE the bomb they are making. If you're too much of a fool to see that then too bad for you, and us.
Actually you're wrong. If it were a peaceful program and they were worried that the US was unduly interested in it then that would be a HUGE reason to NOT have any visible military presence around, especially not the Defense Minister.
Agreed. It was all about power and control of world resources during the cold war. Now we have Iran working on Nukes and being led by a theocratic council whose figurehead to the world (President Achmadinawhackjob) believes that he is going to help bring on the end times. Those who don't believe that he is of that mind should spend some quality time Googling "the 12th Imam" and Achmadinajad.
If one is worried about terrorist attacks on a nuclear facility one doesn't send the Defense Minister to guard it. You're as much of an idiot as the others who disregard his presence as just a normal routine thing.
THEY ARE WORKING ON THE BOMB. When they have one they will use it, probably on Israel but possibly on the US.
I'm sorry, and people can mod me down all they want for this, but you're an idiot. It IS relevant that the Defense Minister was there. Everyone with half a brain knows that Iran is working towards having nuclear weapons. They figure that once then have them everyone will be afraid to touch them.
People can blather about how it's ok for us so it's ok for them and engage in the normal moral relativism that is so rampant today, but I for one don't want to see a theocracy that condones suicide bombings to have THE BOMB. If you do then you really are even more of an idiot than I initially stated.
What I find telling is that the Defense Minister was present. Why would he care about nuclear facilities that were meant for peaceful power generation?
Of course, we all know Iran is working towards nuclear weapons. The question is what to do about it.

He meant charged FROM the grid, as in getting your power off that there electrical grid.

"go and get extensions to your obviously miniscule penises "
I think one of their products can help them with that.

Yahoo shares will tank on Monday indeed, and between that and a shareholder rebellion MS can always just go hostile and move in anyways.

When a country is run by a fanaitcal theocracy they do not care if they will be incinerated in turn. They are just doing Allah's will.
