    On one hand you face an improvement for the buyers and sellers for ads. On the other hand you have privacy concerns. Opt-in systems work better in theory but then why would people want more ads in the first place? Given the valuation of social networking I wonder how do people think about turning that into greenbacks?

    For DNA which is about 4 billion BP long you could use different parts of the sequence to provide revocability. That gives you about 125 million DNA keys using 32 BP per key.

    I can quit whenever I want to. I haven't taken a shower in 3 days and have been playing the new super mario brothers while waiting to be re-spawned in counter strike and unreal tournament. I have both switch off by spectating each match. I use the DS also for map loading. I don't have a girlfriend or a car since I never try to get my drivers license either.

    This is really sad. I used to use openbsd and it is a great project. Very easy to install and a nice fast text based installer. Hopefully someone can pick up the slack and donate to this great project.

    Does this idea ever matter? If you create standards that enable a similar institution eventually you will get an AOL. AOL is 90 percent there for the internet. Also researchers would make the web not be so mickey mouse.

    I don't think this is MIT's fault. Instead it should be the fault of the moral judgement of the person. It isn't a blow as much as to MIT in that it is a blow to scientists.
