Points taken. However, the student version of Mathematica is "only" $150, not $250 USD, (for the 5.x versions, anyway) and it isn't crippled in any way except for the printing of "Mathematica for Students" when one prints a notebook. ALL of the functionality of the full professional version was there. Of course, I don't know (yet) about this new 6.0 version.
office 2007 it's a pretty cool software and the new interface is really good too Microsoft has really improved the ease of use with the ribbon toolbar, IMHO not like vista where they have ruined it, so why return back? i know that more than half of office's user are dumb but sooner or later they will have to learn the new interface otherwise they can simply use paper & pencil Wow. Just wow.
I was going to just quote your first sentence (or two, or three, or however many it was supposed to be), but the second one was even better. So I just quoted the whole damned thing. I don't know why. Just...
That's brave talk. You realize, of course, you're coming after people with guns, right? Hey, if she's got a gun, she comes whenever she wants. I'm just along for the ride.
Indeed. The movie was OK. However, I think it took itself far too seriously for a Bond movie. The Bond movies have always poked fun at themselves. After I was done watching Casino Royale, my friends and I looked at each other, and simultaneously, and unbidded, said, "Where was the mountain/giant spaceship/Oddjob?" (we're that good). Really, there was nothing *big* in the movie other than the giant plane, and that was boring.
The beauty of laser-cooling is that surface roughness (on a moderate scale; the face of a dime is pretty rough, but a "smooth" piece of metal probably wouldn't affect things too much) isn't a problem. Nor are small motions in the direction of the laser axis. In fact, it's the doppler effect of the motions to and fro in the laser beam axis that *helps* laser cooling work. It's nice to have atomic transitions near the laser's frequency, but it's not especially necessary. And I kind of doubt that phonons present in the mirror at any kind of low temperature are at frequencies anything close to a typical laser frequency. This is all speculation on my part, of course.
Er 38 more people. Damn rewrites. You WERE on my short list of new hires. Now I just have to figure out whether you catching that error and being honest about it means you automatically get hired, or whether this particular incidence of your math skills points to potential underlying deficiencies. We'll call you.
Of course, you could have made the error on purpose, and were just playing the honesty system. Hm....
There have been times when there was no ice anywhere on the planet. There have been times when the ice was kilometers thick. There have been times when there was no solid surface. Looxury.
Does anybody else think that the X-Men 3-D interface is entirely doable? Sorry, but I immediately wondered if there should be a goatse reference here. Oh... I thought you said XXX-Men.
I thought I had a good game store here. The outside certainly looked all glittery and fun. When I walked in, it was very dark, and there was a sort of stage with these poles on it, and some scantily-clad females doing an interesting dance. "Oooh! Role-playing!" I thought, looking around for a dwarf wench with the grog.
Then I announced loudly that I wanted to find a game that would take less than 30 minutes. One of the girls looked at me and said, "Honey, you want one that will take less than 30 seconds," and then they all went "Mmm-hmmm!" in unison and did a head-bob.
I want to know where the hell you guys get your games.
Various instances of the same abstract(ed), (de)based class. Meta-comment concerning the technical pun made by previous poster; witty meta-repartee to follow.

... anyone have a .torrent of it?

Wow.
Careful. You'll get a lot of poo thrown in your direction. I'm not sayin' from whom...
... balls on rubber sheets. Seriously.

...it's obviously the universe conspiring to keep people from watching the dreck. Wish I'd got it on this new media.
I think it's the general lack of people scratching out "Dog" on the "Dog License"s and writing in "Bee" in crayon.
I doubt they'd go so far as to give the Post-It facsimile an attribute that the original didn't have...
Was there a Krispy Kreme in that neighborhood?

You're saying that Henry Winkler is SOOO cool that his career has disappeared?

*Bing!* "White House Operator. How may I direct your call?"
Man, I *wish* that still worked.

Next year it'll be a donkey-punch. We'll see who's joking about ponies THEN.
