I think looking for aliens is cool, but I'm more interested in solving big problems here like cancer.

Where will we have access to our profiles? What will it be looked up by? Our cookie? Our email address? I will be interested to see just what information is linked to me personally.

I don't think we will be able to see everything. Only time will tell.

  7. Spoon Installer on Software Packaging Formats for Windows? · · Score: 1
Spoon Installer is the best installer for free that I have found. It is VERY user friendly and very flexible. I always use it for distributing my windows programs. The author is very responsive in adding features and bug fixing if you contact him about it via email. The program automagically generates uninstallers.

The link is http://www.dbpoweramp.com/developer-spoon-installe r.htm. I hope this helps as I have not seen it mentioned. I was so happy when I ran across it while using dbPowerAmp made by the same person to convert my mp3s to wma for my portable wma player.

  9. No Lost Revenue on Borrowing ROMs · · Score: 1

I don't see why the companies would be upset at people freely distributing emulators and roms for old systems. They no longer manufacture either, sot he only revenue is in the used market. Why would the manufacturer care if they are not losing revenue?

While mp3s encoded at lower bit rates seem to have a tingly sound sometimes, almost every wma file I've gotten or encoded ALWAYS sounds like someone is blowing windchimes in my music. I can't stand it.

In my opinion, 192kbps MP3 is the way to go, but then what do I know? I can't hear about 13khz.

Remeber the old AMI bios password screens?
I made a gwbasic program to mimic that for one of
my teachers. I put it on a 360K disk for her 386. Booted up. She put in the bios password. Then of course, it asked again. Simple write out of the chars till it got to 13(enter). Bang, wahlah, u got a password.

Granted, it got me banned from computers at the school when a "friend" ratted on me. Lesson learned: trust no one. hmmm, why am i telling you this again?
