Yes there is, but with good insulation you can control *when* the air is replaced. I, for example, replace the air first thing in the morning when I open the windows for an hour.
Acidity and alkalinity are determined by the concentration of hydrogen ions (H+) (usually hydronium (H3O+)) in a sample. The more hydronium, the lower the pH, and the more acidic your sample. The less hydronium, the higher the pH and the more alkaline your sample.
Now pure H2O cannot by definition contain any hydronium, so our only option is to assign it the highest possible pH value, 14, which puts it in the strong alkali camp. Stronger than NaOH. And would kill you pretty swiftly.
Of course I suspect one can never attain this level of water purity so we're probably safe.
I'm convinced that Firefox really needs a "kill plugins" button. I doubt the extensions api would have hooks for this so would probably need to be part of Firefox proper.
Looks like you got up someone's nose. Honestly, in a time where much of the western world is drinking the "CO2 is teh evil" kool-aid, what did you expect?
We aren't safer because we have to take off our shoes to board an airplane. We aren't safer because we make pilots go through metal detectors. We aren't safer because we're now required to having a driver's license to fly. We aren't safer because we aren't allowed to take our toothpaste (except in teeny tiny tubes) with us.

In the most part I agree with you, but I've yet to come across a peer-reviewed study concluding that the security theatre doesn't make travellers safer.
What? That's not Fair!
Who in turn probably just read it on /.
"Interview removed by request of id Software."
Wow, two Star Wars mis-quotes in a row.
Could it help if I stepped out and pushed?
Surely a name like Wilhelm is just screaming out to be noticed.
Oh I see, it's a standard. Just like OOXML?

... and yet, trailer trash or not, all the mixing/effects equipment in the world wouldn't help if she wasn't actually a GOOD SINGER to begin with.
The "artists" or "singers" on the other hand, are finding more and more ways to artificially make themselves sound better than they really are.
You mean like plugging a guitar into an amplifier?
Wait, are we talking about Bill or Ted now? Or both?
Iron Ferrite?
I think you mean North Montana.
So you... don't want to be entertained in a church?
And still the Fedora people saw fit to kill KDE 3.5 for it in their next release.
These guys should really have their assets... frozen.
You really should have tried to work 1.21 somewhere in there...
No data points here, but when I formatted my 8GB flash disk as EXT3 (was FAT32), I saw an almost ten-fold increase in transfer speed.
Okay how about this:

iPhone... consumer appliance.
I'd say it's closer to a computer than you might think, and I don't see anything realistic preventing malware entering that platform too.
Well ... yes, actually.
Fixed that for you

Oh do shut up.
