I was providing phone support for a Win95 user in a remote office. Double clicking the desktop shortcut did not launch the desired application, so I asked the user to Right-Click on the icon (to get to the properties window) so that I could see where the shortcut was pointing. The user stated that the context menu did not come up. I asked, "Did you right click on the icon?" to which she answere yes. Repeating my instructions did not help. Since I was headed out to that office later the same day, told her I would check it out when I arrived. When I got to her desktop, I descovered that the name of the shortcut icon had been changed from it's original name to 'click'. The user had followed my instructions to write 'click' on the icon.
If you click on the See Similar link, there is another laptop by the same manufacturer with better hardware that includes XP Home. I bet it will even run Lindo^H^HSpire. Nothing that groundbreaking.
Tiger Direct charged $40 and Wal-Mart $80 for shipping
That seemed a bit high to me, espeically since I purchased the same walmart system about 4.5 months ago and I was pretty sure that I hadn't (WOULDN'T) have paid $40 - $80 for shipping. I checked my invoice and sure enough, i only paid $14.35 . I then re-checked the WalMart.com website and shippling was still in the $14 range. To me, that seemed pretty good for computer/keyboard/mouse. There are a lot of sellers on ebay, etc. that charge much more. I'm not sure what this guy was smoking, but I can't imageine that shipping would be $80 ANYWHERE in the country.
BTW, it's a really good little box. It came with a 20Gig HD instead of the advertised 10Gb. I added 256 megs of Ram (Purchased on sale for 20.00), so I've got a pretty slick little box (that my wife loves) for under $250. Well worth it to me.

I tell you it drives my wife nuts. We come down to visit and see some friends, and I have my head stuck in someones box all day.
I believe the article was saying that the Intel funded fuel cell (Not the Toshiba product) would take 2-3 years to get to market.
"If it gets product out by then, Toshiba will probably be first to market. An Intel-funded start up, PolyFuel is working on direct methanol fuel cells for laptops. This delivers 150 watt hours hour battery capacity, three times greater than the best mobile PC batteries a day, but commercial product will take two-to-three years to get to market."

In theory, this would work with almost any table game, however casino's have table limits that specify the range you can bet.
Vets have been using them for years on dogs and cats.

Found sever google references to it citing 'Bill Gates, 1991 memo'. FWIF Here's a link to what is supposed to be the actual memo. (std.com)
