Boddingtons and Guinness (Draught and Ex-stout) are my drinks of choice at the moment. The local grocery store carries Warsteiner but I havent tried it yet. Worth a shot would you say?
St. Georges and Sweetwater (mport and domestic respectively) make two of my favorite porters
The big brands make what people like to drink, simply.
The majority of beer drinkers here in the states want something weak and tasteless that they can knock back ASAP and reach for another, thus accellerating their progression towards getting totally pissed (or at least pleasantly buzzed). Or at least this is what my friends and roommates have infromed me after asking how the hell they stand to drink the tan water that passes for beer here.
Now granted, I can see the reasnong behind wanting a not-strong/overpowering beer perhaps with food...but my idea of that is Harp or Newcastle, not Bud piss -in-a-bottle Light
(Disclaimer: I'm a college student) (Disclaimer 2: I drink imported, microbrew, or nothing)
Yeah except you texans start to drop dead from hypothermia when the mercury drops below 65 (about the time I'm putting on long sleeved shirts) so it goes both ways;-b
They take the songs, produce a CD, and I never see a dime from it. The large publisher has the advertising and distribution system to do this, and I'm powerless.
If you had half a brain you registered your production as a copyright (I know a bit of this, as a local musician I know is working on getting his tunes on the record as copyrighted before he releases) so there is a paper trail that shows you're being ripped off. You then file suit and take $record_company like Frances took florida
Just a thought---perhaps it takes that extra year to save enough disposable income to pay for the more expensive Mac? (For equivalent performance sure the mac's cheaper, but Joe Sixpack doesn't do that. eMacs start at 800, Dell desktops start at 400, and that entry level machine does 99% of what an avg. user wants)
Presuming a PC last 3 years and a mac lasts 5, buying two PCs comes out cheaper, AND halfway through you start using a better machine.
Now depending on how inept the user is you should probably add service and tech support fees in there too, but that's a tossup; as a % of total users i've experienced, a fair portion of mac users seem to complain that something "just doesnt work" just like their PC counterparts
How many times did this guy call something racist?
And way get people to take you seriously by using the term Frankenfood. That's right up there with a supposed tech expert spelling Microsoft with a $
I'd love to see what this guy has to say regarding the production methods for solar panels and the waste material that comes from those processes as oppose to nuclear power.
I have some issues with that story--most notably that from what I remember, F117 Nighthawks are so inherently unstable (the 'stealth' airframe isn't aerodynamic at all) they are nearly always flown "by wire"---blinding the pilot wouldn't make a bit of difference as far as the flying and control of the aircraft.
If the forward looking infared was blinded at the worst it might make the pilot lose his window for dropping off whatever ordinance there was.
First think i was thinking was "Damnit, now i can't check my hotmail addresses once a week with Tbird to see if i got anythng useful (not bloody likely)"
But if hotmail functionality was the only thing keeping people on OE...score! =D
both will simply label the elections as being invalid, using the excuse that the Iraqi people were terrorised by the terrorists into voting for terrorists
Who would you be to say that wasn't actually the case?
IMHO it really depends on what you're wanting to do. I still use paintshop from time to time to correct red-eye (i prefer the PSP's tool to PS's) and to make basic graphics, and quick edits (PSP loads in half the time of PS)
BUT, PS Elements and full fledged Photoshop own PSPS in terms of photo editing and manipulating
I have to question the logistics of that working in the states as well. Or at least in my area (fairly rural)---we have about 20 buses at my highschool that scour the county pretty much in set areas to get all the students to school. A "local bus company" would need at least as many, perhaps more (to account for day to day traffic as well) vehicles to accomplish the same thing, as well as taking a huge stride out of their established route to let people off at the school. In densely populated areas I see that it might be a good idea, but out in the mountains like where i am? Doesn't seem feasable at all
School buses will continue to run non-full because of this: Stopping the busses from going would leave a significant percentage of kids high and dry as to transportation to and from school. Buses are there for EVERY child, but the administration cannot help if parents don't care to utilize them. Personally I rode a buss from 3rd grade until I was old enough to drive and couldn't wait to get off it, but some kids have parents who work afternoons, dont have cars, live WAY out in the sticks and so forth
Most of the "average" broadband userse I know in fact turn their computers off when they're not on them. Usually because the head of household thinks they use some astronomical amount of power
there's some speculation that the EP-3E forced down in China was heavily catalogued before Lockheed Martin engineers were allowed in to dismantle and crate the plane.
Why else would China be so adamant about keeping it from being removed?

The biggest "feature" of the toolbar is the popup blocking..which Moz users don't need
At any rate Firefox has a box in the corner that's directly linked to google

I believe his buddy Murphy would be the one pissing on the broadband connection. Moore would be doing processor upgrades ;-b

it's limited to IE,
Hotmail may be all those other things, but I access it in Firefox all the time. Or did you mean OE (outlook express)?
WebDAV vs. POP3 is where the division between free customers and paid for accounts lies, is it not? (Pay for POP3 access, that is)
At the rate my box fills up with spam I think they're going to end up getting stuck for a ton of that storage whether its legit mail or not

IIRC AIM imposes a 7k filesize limit on icons, so the virus wouldn't be able to be set as one to begin with
Uh, because they're illegal residents of the nation? Sounds like a good reason to me.

Ah, I see, wasn't thinking of that scenario. Thanks for the clarification
I don't understand how licensing requirements to image a software would be different from licensing requirements to use.
*what* local bus company?

Simple fix: When you see credits, get up. Not before.

Far as I know the university of North carolina system also is a member of this program (at the very least the charlotte campus)
Looks to be a sweet deal. TOo bad i'm engineering and not compsci =\
