    Not allowing the owners of the chips to load custom firmware onto the chips is an atrocious practice. That would be the equivalent of maintaining hidden root access on a system that doesn't belong to you and relegating the legitimate owner to a shadow fake root. If you're going to require signed firmware images on a piece of kit then you need to include the private key to sign new firmware to anyone with with your chip in their equipment.

    People on the Spectrum tend to be more intelligent the normal people and most of the problems autistic and those with Asperger's , are result of our culture demanding that they fail. Because the rest of us can't keep up with them if they are allowed to thrive. If you'd suck a bunch of people with autism and Asperger's and gave them their own City they would quickly outpaced the rest of society and no one none of the normies would be able to predict or curtail them because normies can't relate. This leads to a resentment on a primal level. and people with Autism or allowed to thrive Without Shame then the rest of us will never catch up and the future will be controlled by something different then what is now.

    If you're trying to assess for threats you're going to observe a whole lot more if you're not busy blather on about nothing.     What's the model for different people interacting in the world in general anytime a singular culture becomes dominant it becomes detrimental to the majority over time. Once a culture run out of other cultures to demonize, it turns on itself, splintering off segments of itself and creates new villains from its own numbers, to maintain artificial distinction and conflict and collective ego. Is only mutually assured destruction that keeps the peace with humans. It is only prevention of any dominant pattern the law allows people to choose peace instead of War.
