    Use Omniweb then. It also has a single click to kill toolbars, and an excellent plug-in which allows both full screen and "max screen" use (you can get the same for Safari, actually).

    Oh, and Omniweb is a UI delight after ANY other browser.

    Yes, Microsoft is one of the BIGGEST MacOS developers, and has been, EVER SINCE THE ORIGINAL 128K Macintosh was introduced.

    This is such a non-story and non-event that I can hardly believe anyone (especially Microsoft) cares about this non-entities weblog or his non-job.

    In other news, Apple buys 25 copies of Windows XP Professional!

    A TELEVISION screen, not a computer display. A great many cars now come fitted with large (8-10 inch diagonal) sat-nav displays in the middle of their dashboards, how would this computer display be any less legal?

    That's ATSC "High Definition". PAL was considered high definition too when launched, and described as such.

    If HDTV is nothing more than 720 lines, then it's hardly worth the effort upgrading from 625/50 is it?

    It's not the bulb that's the problem, the colour filters fade over time unless dichroic filtration is employed - and most don't use dichroic filtration.

    LCD projectors are notorious for looking good for less than a year.

    Buy CRT if you care about quality, DLP at a push.
