  1. Stop sodding moaning...... on Google Allows Sponsored Rankings...In Ads · · Score: 1

you lot get sicker by the day, google provides a damn decent service, and its for FREE!! Hear than, free, doesnt cost you any more to use it than the side walk. (Ok ok so you pay taxes, but you also have to pay for your time online). If google wants to take on advertising (which they have done in the past) to make money, do we really have a right to complain? If they DO want to make those ads intrusive because noones taking any notice of them, do we still have a right to moan? In my eyes, no, all we can do is stop using the service. Or start paying ourselves for a decent service (oh for a good micropayment scheme). So stop moaning everyone :)

Ive not had windows 200 or xp crash unrecoverably yet, and then all my crashes have occured when running certain apps, so i attribute the crashes to those apps. do i have a reason to run linux on the desktop? no, windows does everything i want it to do with a tenth of the hassle it would be to set Lindows up and use windows apps under it. I mean linux has got a few apps that are unstable, so has windows, so if its the same situation under Lindows then im afraid im not going to use it. My main point was that a lot of users tend towards "i use linux :)" but when asked why they use linux they cant jsutify it beyond "windows is crap". To me a lot of people jsut see a large corporation that makes a lot of money and want to bring it down. A lot of the security problems in windows come down to inter office communication problems within MS, and basically i think you will find that this happens in any company. Again, my point was that a lot of people jsut run linux to fly the flag, hell ive even come across people who run it for office duties, and spend hours on problems that would never have come up in windows, and they were doing it jsut to run linux and get asway from that nasty OS windows.

idiot2:So what apps do u run
idiot:oh OfficeXP, OutlookExpress, Photoshop, ya know, the usual.
idiot2:cool, but windows does that so much better.

A lot of people i know will run Lindows just so that they are running Linux, not because linux does more for them than windows does. It seems an aufull long way to go just to fly a flag.

I have always, and probably will always, ran windows onthe desktop while using linux for the backend. It all works so much better that way in my eyes.

A lot of the responses to your post were along the lines of "well then stick to your own domain then" but why should we? the .com .net etc are supposed to be international, and i reckon companies that take a .com should be made to at least make a effort to ship internationally. When he required access to the server room all he had to do was ask one of us sys admins to let him in, nop problem. We ended up with lots of damage because of that. Im going to comment on the second part of the Item, basically because 1: Very few people have and 2: I have a very personal slant on it. I was abused as a child, and used as a "model" in pictures, and this has really destroyed me and my life since. Basically any "porn" that depicts helpless children in any sort of disgusting pose should be outlawed and the creators AND the viewers should be shot. Yes i know that some people will just stumble across the site, and yes there may be ways to discrimate against those, but if there is no child porn available then there is going to be non of those instances. Sorry for my rambling, but i needed to get it off my chest.
