Yes, I agree totally. Even though from DVD, Suse does install rather quickly, I am very impressed with the layout of the install. Another feature, and Suse is the only one I know that does this by default, aliases the root mail to the first non-root user you add during install.
Open suse has it's own repository, as well as the packman community and these. And you can even simply do yast --install and it'll go get it, or if you have a package you can do a local install and it will resolve the dependencies.
Most Slashdotters just feel it's important because FF is not a Microsoft project, so therefore it's good. It's that MS BAD mentality. But I see using Firefox not as an alternative browser issue, but more as an open source issue. And Microsoft is afraid of Open Source.
That's fine for usb devices that plug into the computer, and does it work through the hub, or does it have to be plugged into the computer for the requester's post? Also, how what about usb devices like bluetooth dongles? How does it power them?
Didn't you hear? The Constitution doesn't mean anything any more. From free speech, to firearm rights, to search and seizure. But it was nice while it lasted.
Okay, here comes the big gray area. As much as I love my privacy and hate it being violated, let's be real here. There are times when privacy can be JUSTIFIABLY violated. Especially if the case (I know this wasn't here, but still) involves a person who was in a violent relationship. Or (more towards this case) the person has been depressed or expressed desire to hurt him/her self. There has to be a little bit of a compromise where personal information should be able to be acquired.
I don't believe in using drama shows, no matter how much science is used, for teaching. There are documentaries that are entertaining for younger children that are better than shows that may take literary license for a drama show.
That video that's mentioned is here. This technology still relies on wireless transmission, so who ever uses it must be in relative close proximity. So when deployed, if you notice them some how, you'll know someone is near by.

According to this translator it means: in ASCII text.
News for nerds.....all types of nerds are included.
Do you really think Itunes would sell the music if the Big 4 didn't okay it?

Sounds like they're stretching now to stop copyright infringement any way they can.
go together?
Well considering they're in the UK and getting it off a US site, entrapment would probably be a far stretch.
ohhhhhh, the book.
I never get the 1984 comments...perhaps because I was born in 81. Can anyone elaborate?
You get taken away to some non-existent place for questioning.
Yes, it's great to have that doctor out of communication or hazmat responder.

Does make a good story plot.

But it proves it's not all phony science. Maybe incomplete, but the science is there.
I spoke to soon in my previous reply.
How fast you think it would take for him to file a lawsuit? I'd settle for the ability to blow up "Law offices of JT and partners".
He's like herpes. The symptoms go away, but it really never goes away.
