What's so odd about that? We already have Abbott (17023) and Costello (17024) rubbing shoulders with Larry (30440), Curly (30441), Moe (30439) and Shemp (30444). There are Tomhanks (12818) and Megryan (8353) and even a James Bond (9007) and Monty Python (13681).
Bullwinkle may not be an asteroid yet, but his creator Alan Anderson (14158) does.
There are several complicated, high-tech computer forensics applications which can circumvent any type of message burning or self-destructing images. If you think that you can send a message to someone and prevent them or someone spying on them directly from keeping a copy, then you're doing it wrong.
I don't understand why so many nations are trying to reach a consensus on military action in Syria over a chemical weapon attack that may or may not have been done by the regime there but nobody has suggested multi-national cooperation to take over the mess in Fukushima.
The highest grade in my class at mid-terms was a D, which is failing at West Point. I passed with a B- by spending my free period sitting in the back of the class of another instructor teaching the same material, and soliciting that instructor's help during lunch and after classes to understand the material.
One could point out that you learned a valuable lesson from Major Payne, just not the one you thought he was teaching.
Similar valuable lessons include "Don't touch that, it's on fire" and "When the pin is pulled, Mr. Grenade is not your friend", and there are much nicer ways of teaching those too.
I have a lot of respect for the USA's Rick Mercer wannabes, but they would be shot at by the Secret Service if they tried any of the stunts that the Canadian press does.
Hmm. Another body, this time Mac Sim City, and no real clues as to who killed it.
The Fellowship representatives, Elizabeth and Abraham, arrived in town two days ago and headed out to Minoc this morning. Maybe they had something to do with it.
I don't see the problem there. If they did release an SSD that ran at turbo speed out of the box but threw up all over itself unless you tuned it to run at a snail's pace, then it would be fantastic for Intel.
Not only would they be able to blow through benchmarks and post amazing scores in their ads and reviews they also would be able to ship barely usable controllers _and_ shift the blame the user for either fiddling with the settings or not applying the recommended stability settings when things invariably go horribly wrong.
And they come up with ideas like "titstare".
And whatever you do, don't google "google". You could break the Internet.
Was the helicopter over 16oz?

I feel like we're sinking deeper each and every time I find myself saying "We have just reached a new low in stupidity."
What some people see as sad commentary others see as a challenge.
Here's one of the first documents released.
Try to control your excitement.
Yes, the future is in Goblin-Pr0n, and you're just the person to make it happen.
And giving PayPunk the card number is better?
They won't let you delete all your card numbers from your PayPal account. You have to leave at least one.
The only work around is to cancel the card.
Actually, you can be used by PayUpPal without giving them a credit card number. They just go out of their way to make life difficult for you.
Could be, but it's doubtful.
they obviously have to protect their business from bad actors.
They seem to have done that by hiring them.
Let's just say that you don't notice the problem as much as you used to.
From delicious, tasty brains.
Because trading a bandwidth problem for an availability problem is brilliant.

A giant wall of ice? Where have I seen that before?
You've seen it before then.
I don't understand why so many nations are trying to reach a consensus on military action in Syria over a chemical weapon attack that may or may not have been done by the regime there but nobody has suggested multi-national cooperation to take over the mess in Fukushima.
Good thinking. Perhaps we should form some sort of International Atomic Energy Agency with the authority to monitor this kind of situation and set safety standards.
The only thing missing is a standing army to enforce compliance. All they have now is a big box to stand on and yell.
50 million tonnes of K-40 versus a kilogramme or two of the cesium isotopes from the Fukushima reactors, which one concerns you more? Let me guess...
I'll take "Whichever one I see on the nightly news" for $200 please, Alex.
Don't ask for legal advice on Slashdot. Their service is horrendous.

Make him tune into Canadian election coverage for a few hours...
That probably runs into problems with 'cruel and unusual punishment'.
Have you seen how Canada handles political debates? Or Rick Mercer interviewing Prime Minister Jean Chrétien? Has the State of the Union address ever been crashed by Marg Delahunty dressed as a warrior princess?
And have you seen how Canadians deal with (or at least used to deal with) US-style conservatives?
I have a lot of respect for the USA's Rick Mercer wannabes, but they would be shot at by the Secret Service if they tried any of the stunts that the Canadian press does.
At best it has an "extreme right" and a "somewhat more moderate right"
Or a "mostly wrong" and a "disturbingly wrong", if you prefer those terms.
I thought that at least Windows Phones might finally get a decent maps application, but it seems that MS didn't buy that.
Then again, that could mean that Nokia/Ovi/Here/There/Whatever maps could find their way onto other devices instead.

Did anyone expect anything less from this series of disasters?
i see what you mean but it's usually fire, tornados and godzilla coming through and wrecking the place.
This is something much bigger -- EA.

It's a WIN-WIN-WIN situation.
How would attacking the plant with drones help?
