I believe MacNode.com is hosting the update as well, assuming Lore has his ass in gear. This should be quite useful for all you iDSL customers in the California area.;P
With any luck, CompUSA wil start giving out copies of 10.2 like they did with 10.1. Yet I don't really see the point of Amazon.com doing this because they're support of Mac software has always been so limited in the past. I myself have had to just order through the developers instead of Amazon.com And if I CompUSA doesn't give out free copies of 10.2 I can always get a Student Discount.;)
I thought the code name Jaguar was for the new Quicktime 6, which is having problems (put nicely, without all the swearing) being released. Your saying Mac OS X 10.2 was also named Jaguar?
The word "heathens" is a complete understatement for some PC users . =)
Ugh..I REALLY don't want to see this new Mac OS X being downloaded onto some sleazy file sharing application and getting warezed. Just buy the software, mow lawns to get the money if you have to.
I have a iPod of my own, I can barely fill up a gig's worth of space, thats my main focus (not what case it's in). Besides I just put my iPod in my pocket when walking around... Besides people might mistake your iPod case as a tazer. =)
I know this is kinda off-topic, but after reading the article, the only thing I could wonder was: "How much do Mac's cost in the UK?" For example a: 500 MHZ iMac DV Special Edition (Snow Color). Interesting Article.
...is because most Mac users have a sense of style, creativity, and a love for that classic smiling face that greets you as you boot up into a Macintosh OS. Though I besides Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X on my Mac, I have Yellow Dog Linux installed as well. I think Apple is doing a fine job with staying ahead of its competition (i.e. Microsoft). If you don't like Macintosh OS's, I have news for you: "There ain't much more out there to pick from." Sure theres Linux or Unix but its not really made for the average 9 to 5 working Amercian.
With Neverwinter nights, I finally get to make use of the part of my brain dedicated to THac0, weapon speeds, how many electrum pieces are in a platinum piece, the material components for "Burning Hands", etc.
NWN looked good, until they announced they were dropping the MacOS and Linux toolsets. There went my reason to buy the damn thing.
You guys claiming yourself geeks are just little children trying to impress everyone with your knowledge you probably got some Gaming sites review of Lineage. Sorry to sound like a Flame Bait or a Troller, but a RPG of ANY KIND doesn't need a OpenGL or 128 MEGS of RAM to make it "good." If you ever decide to go back and use your brains, you might realized their is more then games like NMW out there.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy almost ever RPG, from Moria to Baldur's Gate. I enjoy simpler games like Moria more then almost ANY RPG out there today. It's not that I hate newer RPG's these days, but today companies developing games are to busy dwelling on "more realistic graphics" or "better texture's," just to make a better profit. It really pains me to see things like that, when really all you need is a good plot with most RPG's. Sure this is my opinion and it may sound crazy, but compare how long it takes you to beat a game like Rogue or Moria then compare it to how long it takes to beat Baldur's Gate 2. Their is extreme difference in time and quality of plot.
Now maybe Psylsk will run correctly, and I wont have to bother with the developers release of SoleSeek.
Mac OS X takes it's usual theme of 'smaller is better' to a whole new level. Heh.
Erm, think about trying DirectConnect, which sort of makes this whole thread sort of useless, though it's Mac OS 10.2.x or higher.

Even if ZIA encryption method ends up being broken by/a hacker(s), you still get some cool jewelry to show off to your friends.
Now the government can use the airships as excuses for what you "really" saw in the sky at night, not a UFO. Good bye weather balloon excuse.
Speaking of Google, Froogle is soon to be released, watch out eBay...
How about we recycle all the people living in Presque Isle?
They have been removed from circulation, disassembled, then used to construct the infamous 19" displays, never waste parts.
Can't certain versions of BeOS run on a Macintosh?
Boy, you can really tell who all the non-Mac users are when they say: 'MAC' intead of Macintosh. Regardless of the fact th
What about the loyal Mac fans who don't have a Apple store up here in Maine? ;(

Why not just Eudora or at the very least, Hotmail?
Wouldn't you be happy to award a browser something that wasn't Internet Explorer? I prefer Chimera as my primary Web browser though.
Lowering the price to a "affordable" status for the Xserve might be a good idea for Apple to stay in the competition.

Why give away your old Mac if you can get more use out of it as a Linux server, YDL would be a good place to start.
Besides, what the exchange rate between Amercian and Japanese currency?

Will they be releasing information on the new and incredibly cool 23 inch 1920 by 1200 pixel flat screens?

Heh, the XBox 2 is coming now instead of Microsoft, Intel will get into the Video Game action.
