God help the poor people who live on a lake if one of these things were running. I can image that the noise produced by the two high pressure streams and the pump must be brutal.
I look forward to trying to take a photo in an environment where you are trying to be silent, like a musical performance, animal photography, church, etc.
Actually there is private information such as diplomatic stances and personal discussions on international matters between congressmen and the president that the other countries involved would like to know. You can get a leg up in negotiations if you know what the other side is willing to concede, what they aren't, etc. It can also help if you know what actions they might be planning (e.g. discussing possible arms sales to Taiwan), who is sympathetic to you on an important issue and what they know about you.
The Chinese government isn't stupid. All governments know that there is valuable info that isn't officially classified but isn't shared with the public. The personal feelings of a congressman are just as important as an official memo. Congressmen on various committees (such as international relations or defense) always work closely with the president and would generate lots of communications. Generating support in congress has always been one of the president's most critical tasks.
There is also the matter that there are hundreds of congressmen's systems to target whereas the presidential computer system is likely much smaller physically.
I was just thinking the same thing today. Blizzard is offering this for WOW players to protect accounts. A loss in convienience is a small price to pay at this point to address the ever growing insecurity (not to mention costs to businesses) of the credit card system.
Exactly. Most of the music I have I have purchased as CDs in the past or bought as single tracks online. The music I have copied is music I never would've bought for myself. Those aren't lost sales. They were never going to be sales in the first place. I only have it because it cost me nothing so it didn't hurt to check it out. I still buy music that I am seriously interested in.
Their arguement is like someone discovering how to copy a Rolls Royce for free. Suddenly all the millions of Rolls Royces on the road being driven by people of modest means represent lost sales?
Even a good pair of binoculars will show a significant chromatic abberation with the point (or near point) sources of stars and planets. You are still better off investing in a reasonably priced reflector.
the only drawback is a 8" scope can BLIND YOU if you observe the moon without filters.
It didn't blind me when I looked at the moon through the Amherst College 18" refractor but it sure didn't feel good. I had a flashing disk of light in my field of view for about 5 minutes after. I wish the instructor had been a little more aware of the danger.
I've always been turned off from so called "Energy Drinks". I see too many people pound down these combinations of corn syrup and caffeine. The boost is very brief and all that sugar can't be good for the waistline or for insulin levels. The appeal seems to be mostly marketing. If you need lots of caffeine to function you'd be better off getting a decent night's sleep regularly.
The Borings lost a case but they uncovered a treasure trove of jokes at their expense.
"Hey, it's that Boring kid from school!"

Smart building blocks? I'm not looking forward to a Lego Terminator coming out of this.
I'm sorry but that is for the courts to decide.
"Sugar on a Stick" would be a great name for a 70's blackploitation film.
I think these advertisers learned their marketing skills when they were 5 years old.
"Are we there yet?" ...repeat ad nauseum
"No"
"Are we there yet?"
"No"
"Are we there yet?"
"No"
"Are we there yet?"
"No"
Plus Emilio Largo is going to have to move his secret operations.
Plus I'd think it would be very sensitive to thermal noise or excessive heat.
Next, how to use your farts, produced while using a computer (wasted right now), to increase its power.
Ummm....my system is overclocked right now.
At least you will have a theme song to play during the eruption.
I'll just set up a batch job to keep pinging it until it comes up...
It's been done.
Your bank would have records of your payments also.
If a sequal gets made and no one goes to watch it, did it ever exist?
Om...om...

If your camera fails to make a noise you will be required to make a "bzzzt-click!" sound with your mouth.
They were probably referring to this.

Clearly only a person who is part of the global coffee industry conspiracy would want you to believe such a thing.

There is a big difference between feeling anxious and hallucinating. I'm just surprised it took only 3 cups.
