But there is a strong dogma that genetics is not a factor in the observed disparity in measurable intelligence between sub-Saharan Black Africans and Ashkenazi Jews. This dogma doesn't have any scientific basis that I'm aware of; the best that can be said is that we don't (yet?) understand all the many factors that affect intelligence.
I believe the "dogma" you refer to is the scientific method. The position you are describing (I'm not implying you're taking it) posits a causal relationship exists between the totality of sub-Saharan Black African genetic heritage and lower comparative intelligence with respect to another group.
This is extremely difficult to show, and in my opinion rightfully receives criticism unrelated to it's social implications.
I had a rental in France a few years back, the in-dash computer reported fuel efficiency in L/100km. I guess someone already solved the units problem. I think it was a Renault.
You don't need higher math, algorithms, and data structures in web development.
Much of the javascript I see is far heavier on these items than the avionics code I encounter at work. Also I don't know how a person could do anything technical at all without an understanding of these three items, in any field. They are synonymous with tools, methods, and materials.
I know there will be haters, but the more corporate interest and entries in this category the better in my opinion. And if it happens to forward the interests of Intel, more power to them.
Please let the content scale horizontally with the window size. It's so skinny as-is it's painful. And the always there top bar is incredibly annoying imo, just more javascript to lag.
I don't think this is true anymore since T-moble refarmed it's spectrum to support the iPhone. Now T-moble and ATT are largely 3G compatible in many areas.
Most markets don't turn into monopolies. There's nothing natural about them, and they're highly inefficient.
Nature is entirely monopolistic. If one organism is superior in an ecosystem, it will completely crowd out all competition until all resources are consumed and it dies due to starvation. A lesson that can be learned form this is that the more diverse ecosystems are more robust. I imagine some parallels can be drawn in business.
More like someone wanted something different from what was already available, and put their desire into a project that created something new.
Good for them. Hacker spirit and all.
Aaaaand not even that. After adjusting for channel inventory reduction (in order to increase retail efficiency or prep for new product cycle) the actual sales are pretty flat (down 3%). Here's the statement from Wells Fargo analyst Maynard Um, as quoted by AppleInsider.
"As for the iPad, shipments were down 14 percent year over year, but when adjusting for reductions in channel inventory, the true drop-off was just 3 percent. Um believes iPad sales were likely soft in the U.S. and Europe, as Apple highlighted double-digit growth in China, Japan, Canada, Russia, Latin America, the Middle East, and India."
Looks like holding shift while starting safari solves the problem. No browser reset required. Holding shift tells safari not to open previously open tabs/windows.
Yup, my opinion is that these analysts are fishing for clicks and have no idea what is going on. At least that's what sources familiar with the matter tell me.
Personally I think this is the inevitable future for law enforcement, and I couldn't be happier about it. Absolutely everyone benefits from a complete A/V record of an officers activity. Except bad cops and actual criminals, but I don't really feel for them.
The session videos are usually available the next week. Occasionally I'll write some app to automate some task on my mac, and I've really enjoyed watching the videos in previous years. Definitely stuff for nerds;)
Does anyone else notice that many Samsung ads seem less about the products and more about making other people feel bad? I don't own an iPhone, but whenever I see a Samsung ad insulting some apple user all I can think is, "Boy those guys are jerks."
If I need a product and the Samsung one is superior I'll probably buy it, but it would cross my mind that I don't want to be a jerk like the people in their ads.
OpenWRT package mwan3 has similar functionality without the complication of multipath.

It really does not require any more skill. If hacking were allowed, it would come down to who has the fastest computer and lowest ping to the server.
You've just described high frequency trading.

Swift is a strongly-typed language, that operates inside a runtime with garbage collection.
There is no GC in iOS. Also the GC in OS X is deprecated. Swift uses Automatic Reference Counting which is something... completely different.

Mavericks is a free update from SL. My mac came with Leopard originally, and runs Mavericks fine.

THe other one is my wife's so it isn't running Linux.
My wife's laptop is running Debian 7. What's up with your wife? :)
My guess is his is not imaginary.
Trying to sell something that can be got for free is unlikely to be highly profitable.
Bottled Water.

The "modified charger" they describe is in fact a computer.

Is this really malware? It's just a webpage with annoying javascript...

You're right! I'm a ham and I'm in my 30s!! No mustache though, sorry.

I think a better question would be, how often does something genuinely new come along?
