My post does not relate to the value or cost of one human life, or many human lives. I am merely comparing the cost to improve current infrastructure vs. the cost to let it all fail and bring in new population and infrastructure. The first is a finite cost laid out now. The second is more variable and also paid out over an extended time period (hence more desirable).
Very true, however The March of Dimes was originally founded to fight Polio and succeeded in mostly eradicating it, but they are still around, albeit with a modified mission.
The NX protocol works well. Try the freeNX version, or download the free one from NoMachine.
They have a java web client so I just have port 80 and port 22 open to the internet, I hit the webpage where the client is and it launches the application. I can do it from any PC, no installation necessary.
There are some new income based repayment options for student loans, if they are federal guaranteed loans. I believe the remainder is forgiven after 20 years, 10 if you work for a non-profit.

The only benefit I have found to debian or ubuntu is the sheer number of packages. Chances are almost anything has a.deb or is included in a repository somewhere. Developers usually target debian.
OpenSUSE is working on that, their build services are nice and zypper is as good as apt-get now. But sometimes the packages aren't there and you have to build from source.

OpenSUSE uses zypper now, it works as well or better then apt-get.

It's cheaper to repopulate after the fact...
Polio has not been eradicated, http://news.google.com/news/search?aq=f&pz=1&cf=all&ned=us&hl=en&q=polio

What was he going to do, call the police?
That would be the best possible outcome, if he were able to locate you.
why kubuntu, when OpenSUSE put so much love into their KDE distribution? Plus, yast is a godsend for console only computers.
Let's be honest, God run's OpenSUSE, so it just works when he plugs in a second display or a projector. Plus, he also gets KDE.
I too have had problems with Ubuntu, it's why I keep going back to OpenSUSE, their distribution is much stabler IMHO.

So your saying IPV6 was designed by Apple?
Well the world wants an MS solution, we're used to our mistakes, we like to keep them around.
You're dreaming. We've had 15 years to invent an "even better solution". There isn't one. Quit living in denial, you're starting to look silly.
Words to deny you ever said, because you will eat them...plus that it won't get cheaper thing...
If you want KDE, try OpenSUSE, their distribution is top notch on laptops. I use it on Dell and HP.
Opensuse

or you can always fall back on YAST.
firewalls are also useful for consolidating access to internal machines, load-balancing, terminating remote access, and a host of other things.
try pfsense
Does that list surviving family, what charity they may have wanted donations to go to, religious services, etc..
Because all that is useful to historians and genealogists.
wow my password is ******* also!

As a side-benefit, they've all learned the value of creating a good password and keeping it secret ;-)
priceless...
Buying your kids a mac is like forcing them to be left handed. It's borderline child abuse, IMHO.
I think he just called you gay...
I agree
but how we wish we did...
I believe shockwave works under wine, use the firefox version, maybe the one for Opera would work too? My kids don't even know what IE is.
