Well, considering, there is no official announcement from Oracle that they are pulling OpenSSO from their product lineup. This article/blog entry is mere speculation.
Pretty much, I've been documenting on and off for the past while the various (negative) things that have been happening with the games. It's a shame really.
I don't know why this hasn't been mentioned, but you can set a master password on your Firefox password manager to make sure that your passwords are kept secure via encryption.
I don't know where you live, but in Vancouver no roads were torn up to put in tracks or stations built. Our trolley system relies on overhead wires which caused minimal disruption when installation was done and no modification to existing roadways.
Did you actually install it? (or are you a typical/. reader?) It has a "GPU" option for stress testing your graphics card if you have the latest DirectX updates installed.
It will stress your RAM, CPU, and GPU or all at once with pretty temperature and utilization graphs (for Windows only): http://www.ocbase.com/perestroika_en/
How is TELUS competition to Shaw? They have a very small footprint for deployment and inferior technology:
You can get a maximum of 2 TV's streaming at the same time with TTV assuming you're right next to a DSLAM/CO and you can only get 3.0Mbps Internet if you have TTV.
Back in '05 when our local telecommunications company (TELUS) in British Columbia went on strike, some lines were cut and service for a couple thousand customers was lost. Of course, the first thing the company does is blame the union for sabotage.
Turns out it was just some thieves cutting the lines for copper, but that didn't come out until a month after the labour dispute ended.
Most likely the same thing happened here, thieves aren't exactly smart and most union employees would not risk the bad press something like this would generate.
Last I heard Liberals were supporting copyright reform, including the previous Bill C-60 that they themselves tabled before their government came crashing down.
I'm planning on leaving Vancouver for the 2 weeks during the Olympics. I hate the fact that it's coming here in the first place, and that the rest of the province didn't get to vote on the referendum that's going to cost us tax payers billions of dollars.
It should be interesting to see how maintenance is handled. Can't wait until something goes wrong and you have a $15,000 bill to dig up the road to the "peering point."

OpenSSO is not a trademark of Oracle/Sun, you can see a list of trademarks for Sun at http://www.sun.com/suntrademarks/
It's a good thing this vulnerability doesn't allow the host system to be compromised, otherwise we'd be in real trouble!
(AKA: Parent poster is wrong.)
"You get the chance to support the most important free software project on the planet"
What? This sounds like something Theo or a GNU zealot would write ...

You can forward shaw.ca e-mail addresses to your personal email elsewhere.
We have those in Vancouver as well, except we have articulated and single electric trolleys. Great idea, virtually silent.

The site was announced on Friday July 17 with the first consultation for Vancouver scheduled the following Monday July 20.
Typical weasel politics and tactics used by Conservatives.
.. Or, hung off bridges?
Yes, but I think you have to take Price vs. Reward: The X61 is a very attractive offering if you look at the price point of it.
I hate to break it to you: The ThinkPad X61 is only ~3.11lbs.

I myself, don't think so. He seems just as religious and heavy handed as all your other presidents.
That's pretty much how it is. If you don't have money to defend a domain then you pretty much have to give up it.
I was threatened in 2006 over my ownership of terryfox.net, you can read about it on my website.

Please provide proof otherwise?

Where do you plan on going? ;-)

The average person in China doesn't know China censors.
Aren't cops in the good ol' United States employed in a more buddy buddy system where someone is "elected" and then hires all their buddies?
TreeWalk DNS for Windows is a good caching-only name server.
