Could be an ego thing. By people hearing that his voicemail is full, he probably thinks that others will think he is popular due to all the messages he always gets. However, when I hear that someone's voice mail is always full, I tend to think that they are retarded and don't know how to work their phones...
I know in the voicemail on my cell, you can change it to rapid prompts that cut out most of the chatter. Likewise, you can delete messages at anytime. So that argument doesn't hold much water...
Verizon Wireless has a ton of phones with visual voicemail. Also, if you have a blackberry, you can sign up for youmail (or is it umail) which does the same thing.
No-one would buy the iPhone if it was simply just a phone, even a souped-up one with some nice tweaks.
which is why its the iPHONE, and not the iPDA. As a PDA it was missing half of what all the other PDA's had. Hell, lack of MMS and 3g, made it a pretty crappy phone also, but the apple logo made up for that...
As far as PDAs go, I work in the mobile industry. PDAs are still going strong.
Agreed. However, in a console, media integration is now a plus. People like being able to listen to their own music while playing a game. Dorm room gamers may not have the money or space to throw in a second DVD player. Some integration is bound to take place as things progress. I'll agree that trying to add more features that make you console just an underpowered computer is kinda nuts, and I'll never carry around just one thing for gaming and phone use as that's just stupid.
That's the handheld market however. The DS is pretty much the only handheld(does the PSP still count?) And the iphone is also a cell phone, so the comparision isn't as good.
The console market has plenty of other consoles to choose from. People looking for a cheap system that is fun will go with the Wii still, hardcore gamers will go for the consoles that have the games on them and a proven track record. Mac cultists will buy anything with an apple on it however. If they release a console, I think it will take some time before it becomes really popular.
Finally, they also noted that Nine Networks had probably not expended much effort to arrange the information, which could also be a factor in such cases.
don't networks have whole departments that plan the lineup and scheduling? I believe that there is much work in determining what shows will air and in what order.
Or do what pages like geekologie.com do, just put links to other articles on your site within keywords in each post. If they only pull the RSS, then each stolen article will link to two or three of your own posts.
Or you can also set up your RSS to only syncdicate an excerpt with a link to read more...
, or even better, include ads in the rss, so when it is ripped off, it includes your own ads.
If a word means two things, then it means two things. Just because something terrible happens, it doesn't mean that it suddenly has lost one set of definitions...
someone quoted another article that stated that it was update checks, news posts, and the like being delivered to the users. That happens even for single player games if they are connected.
I rememer working with a guy who tried the paperless office. Instead of documents and faxes on his desk, he had stacks and stacks of CD's and DVD's...
but those people are animals who live in mud huts. Why would they need voicemail let alone a phone?
I spent about 20 minutes talking to my parents yesterday. I was also about to take a shower and naked. I am glad I don't have a video phone...
"CALL ME IMMEDIATLY!!!!11!1!!11!ONE!"
Very professional...
Interesting, I didn't think that any providers charged you for messages left, only when you call to check them.
What do you mean American Accent, it's you brits who talk funny...

Both have the option to remove voicemail

What are they going to do next, demand that we remove the ovens from the kitchens of the citizens?
Solar power just doesn't work. When will people learn this...

I thought that Obama made all that money from his cult following and paypal donations...
The does not give any requirements as to who writes the document, only that it has parts deleted.
