I had to use gcc under windows, and this little program helped me (until i got my hands on devc++) but it was ok, and it's got a heckuva colorcoding (even on x86 assembly)...
I think it's a nice option for windows editors (and it's freeeeeeeee)
Like that gizmo they had in Earth:Final Conflict, the one with the foldable touch screen which could show Da'An (No Da'An communication included). If that fails, then the Enterprise's Computer along with a com device would be fine...
Well, Is it me or is it just another news in the row for the next decade, after CMOS, the Mayan Calendar and the other things shown?
But who cares... we have stepped on mars according to these series of videos...

Hmmm... Another Trekish Effect? Maybe... Well up until the very special date that is mentioned (no spoiler), there could be a yearly movie (or telemovie)...
And then? X-Files Next Generation? William Mulder-Scully Goes and makes contact with the alien people? Third encounter? David Duchovny making movies at the age of 70(or so) and mockering the (at time) generations? (Maybe he could run for president and become a real shadowy conspirator!)
If you live in the EU, there is a computer study test that is being taken on computer subjects only, just to credit the knowledge of computers. Like how to use M$ products mainly.
If you want to have a real computer science/study test, there is not anything yet I presume...

Making an adaptation inside the settings of the MMORPG, and offering something if you visit the page? Something like neopets does with cartoon network and other adverts...
In our company, which is a rather small section of a large organization, the development team (which is 4 including the boss), is using Linux as a desktop. Still, because of the compatibility issues of Micro$oft, we have set a vmware with dos and winblows. The funny thing is that a vmware install of windows 2000 professional in a mandrake linux 8.0 with all the packages installed (minus the new kernel), and with defined memory 128mb (out of 256 total in the box) runs like hell! It takes below a minute to boot up everything!!!(enough about ranting)
The trouble with linux is that even though desktop use is possible, it's still on development, at least for my country, because there is not enough localization to support other users switching from ms to linux.I myself use kde 2.2.1 and it's ok, but hence, I find it difficult sometimes and not fully debugged. Yes, Microsoft's products are not 100% operational (call me BSoD) but yet, they have an operability.
No, I am refferring to a very particular clone of Alfred who is also referred (for _political_ correct reasons) Alfred E. Newman (didn't you do the maths already?)
Wasn't there used to be some Egghead genetic engineered klingons on the TOS?
Anyway, I hope that the writers will respect the story (unlike lucas's prequel with the techonlogical enchancements that the trilogy didn't had)...
And yes... MORE TECHNOBABBLE NEEDED!!!
I haven't seen the pilot, and since I live in Greece, I don't think that I am going to see it in the near future (heck! I was watching ds9 which the local channel used to put in each saturday, and then with the Alfred E. Newman crisis the channel officials decided to turn into a CNN clone...:( ).I don't know how the series will turnup, but then again, I thought that encounter at farpoint was ridiculous (comparing to the ST movies, cause I was ignorant then), but even STTNG became a loooooot better since those days!
And however you can put it, Scott Bakula is surely one of the guys. (and don't mention Jolene Blalock)....

They are going towards diablo again? Or will it be Warcraft world now? Hmm.... I say! Buy Games Workshop and make a Warhammer (Futuristic) RPG!
Well... nobody said anything about walking out of the rocket.... :)
I say, give me an extra pack of fuel, some final fantasy games a good computer and I'll go...

True it was mentioned the second time scully was in a Court....
David Icke and Zecharia Sitchin stuff... Well they do have a point don't they?
