Or...thank God for the guy that's prepared to stand up for what is right, despite the personal cost should they lose.

This isn't about contracting on its own (which is still 100% allowable), this is about using contracting as a scam to avoid paying the full costs of employing someone. I actually think this is more cut and dried than e.g.. Uber, because these guys supplied him with his tools, uniform, van, jobs and demanded a minimum number of hours worked - that's pretty much employment where I come from.

  14. Big conspiracy was the third player.

They decided if they could turn it into a conspiracy, they could get more viewers for their youtube channels and also sell more homeopathic and holistic nicotine replacement snake oil. But big conspiracy is really allergic to the truth and only wants to 'manage' peoples prejudices. So they could ignore the part where they supply any evidence of their claims and just told people to 'do their own research' (big conspiracy double talk for 'watch more of our youtube videos)

That's what I heard on infowars anyway.

  15. Okay

I don't have time to convince the government though, you do that bit since you care so much.

I haven't paid 50 quid for a game in years - and I have plenty of games. In fact, a longer console life works well for me since I just buy my games a year or two after release when they are much cheaper. I don't even have any problems with online only games as long as they are fairly popular (currently playing Battlefield 1 and Rocket League and there's no problem finding online opponents - obviously with less well known games ymmv). The bonus is, I usually get all the dlc included and all the launch bugs are fixed.

I'd recommend Rocket League for your second issue - great fun game that's quick (5 minute matches), easy to pick up but has a massive mastery curve. Plus split screen multiplayer.

Do you have evidence to back this up? I've no knowledge of US unions, so perhaps its true. I'm certainly intrigued enough to wonder why you are modded +4 interesting for your anecdotal assertions whilst those defending unions are unmodded.

Or to put it another way - why do the members not do something about it? Are unions in the US not democratic? Do you actually care about unions or are you just putting them down because you hate the concept?

There is no such thing as Scottish English - we generally just speak English with a liberal smattering of Scots.

Your poem is in Scots, which is related to English in the same way Spanish is related to Italian, eg it's not a dialect of English but an equally old language from common roots.

It scares me more than anything that my kids will see any of these people as role models, or anything other than people to be pitied.
