I used to have the exact same problem as you, and found out later I was in fact ADD. I didn't really show any symptoms except for the whole not working till under extreme pressure thing, but just for the heck of it, I got checked out and came back positive. Since then, my programming and concentration skills have improved exponentially. I would definately reccomend at least getting checked, what can it hurt?
http://k-lite.tk Had a new version last I checked, it blocked RIAA IP ranges, and disabled the file list feature. That way, you can keep uploading, without being really worried.
At least this type of thing might make Microsoft loosen upgrade requirements, and also it gives some nice $$$ to Linux companies, and hence development.
A nice idea, but Microsoft isn't gonna be doing that anytime soon. Mice/game pads/Keyboards are nothing. Bill Gates's toilet water probably costs more than he could make from those. Why go fishing in the puddle, when the ocean is around the corner?
If I don't recall, one of the world's biggest Spam Kings lives in West Bloomfield, Michigan (about 1.5 miles from my house in fact) And no, I'm not planning an asassination.;-);-)
Let me start with networking first because I think that this is a very exciting area for the enthusiast, even if it hasn't quite caught fire.
The author is wrong there, at least for me. My network has caught fire many times!
I love how the Harvard Crimson uses the word "Glastnost" (meaning Openness) Normally when you hear this word, it is hand in hand with the fall of the USSR....
Wow everyone! Now that we have working Game Cube games (that we can't really access), we can begin the warez scramble! Woohoo! Looks like the pr0n will start flowing! (retched pop-ups) Seriously though, I will be impressed when all of these next generation consoles can be correctly emulated.
The major idea that differs between the US and that country, is how we were eased into the TV culture. We had the 2 channels, then 5, and so on and so on. We know the WWF(or whatever they call themselves) is fake. They do not. Sad story.
This idea goes completely against my most trusted and effective security practice. Don't give even the most trusted person more access than need, or in this case, don't give them an ability you wouldn't want anyone in the world to have. The idea of my computer being a tracking device, or for that matter wiping out it's hard drive is not appealing to me. Anyone know how good this things' authentication is?
The problem with traveling back in time would be that out clothes would probably not have existed....unless we brought them with us, or somehow nothing happened to torch em during the trop, we would be naked when we arrived. Maybe those so called "streakers" are really explorers from the future
I find that coding books are much more affective than web sites, simply because it is easier to get absorbed in a coding than to get absorbed in a coding web site.
laptops manufacture YOU! haha new twist on an old gag

The passwords will be changing fast enough to DoS the server they're stored on!

Despite my tremendous fragging ability, I still can't walk a stright line, even when sober. So much for those cat like reflexes....

Nice to see the return of some old favorites, but Penny Arcade will still be my fave, even it is only based around gamers
