All of southern Ontario already thinks they are the only part of the province that exists. So Toronto thinking it should be a province by itself doesn't surprise me.

Most Ontario road maps (ya I'm old enough to have seen paper road maps) had southern Ontario on one side and northern Ontario on the other side. They made it look like the two areas were equal in size. The problem was that the scales were different. The northern Ontario side was about half the scale that the southern Ontario side was.

Actually for that example the movie theater is probably better off with the 10 movies for $10. Since the theater actually doesn't make much on the actual movie ticket sale and mostly on concession stand sales, the more time you can get people into the theater the better chance you have of getting them to spend money at the concession stand.

This example shows the main reason manufacturers don't want to release repair information. Do you really think it costs $90 to make the new key (even $30 would be highly stretching the manufacturing costs)? Is it really so hard to program a new key that it should cost $100 to do it? If the manufacturer didn't have a monopoly on these items I'm sure the cost would be significantly less.

  12. What's really racist is the idea that minorities are just incapable of getting an ID.

The problem is what ID is required. If all that is required is "driver's license or state-issued ID card, a U.S. passport, or a copy of a utility bill, bank statement, or paycheck." Then there really shouldn't be too much of a problem since it shouldn't be too hard to get "a copy of a utility bill, bank statement, or paycheck."

If your state has a strict photo ID requirement and only accepts "driver's license or state-issued ID card, a U.S. passport" there could be a problem. All of these require an outlay of money. Money some voters (minorities included) may not be able to afford.

Then Discovery comes out and is supposed to take place 10 years before TOS (and in the same continuity universe) but the Klingons look nothing like previous Klingons.
