If (and its a big if) this becomes feasible then application to the cooling coils on refrigeration, freezer, air conditioning and dehumidification units will reduce the need for heating those coils to melt the ice that is formed. Look at the heating elements power consumption in your typical refrigerator to see how much energy is used to remove ice build up. Even being able to cut the units power usage by half would be a game changer in the HVAC and refrigeration industries.

Then the next week you work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, with Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday off. Every weekend is off and every other weekend is a 4 day weekend. Holidays, vacations and unscheduled (health and personal) time off is where both the company and workers need to figure out how to do this. 24 /7, part time and other non-standard working hour jobs do not fit this.

  13. I know that this "camera in a street light" has been is use by law enforcement at least since the early to middle 90's. One of the main uses was to have a camera situated so that it was focused on a phone booth. This was to watch for a specific user of the phone and in higher crime areas to observe drug dealers and other miscreants phone usage. When / if those users were using the phone, then a court order for a phone tap could be asked for. That's how long ago these cameras were being used, pay phones and court orders.
