    I agree with what you are saying. But the reason i was surprised was when i looked it up online it came up as adamo.

    I know that amare -> to love, but i'm confused as to why the translator agreed with the Dell translation.

    It looks like they got it right. amare means "to love" but you don't need the ad part for that.

    You don't need to fit the adapter in a SD slot, because you wouldn't need the adapter. Eye-fi comes as SD.

    I'd be pissed also. Why they hell are they tracking where people click? Especially up to the point where you haven't yet bought anything from said site.

    You'd only have use a zombie attack once to make that method of law enforcement invalid. New business model for botfarm owners -- hitting "bad" sites to disguise legitimate IPs.

    I HATE the fact that AVG incorporates something called LinkScanner which scans websites you've not even visited yet for potential threats. The side effects of this are that it messes up your web stats and causes fake 'clicks' on pay per click adverts! This practice should be illegal in my opinion.

    I don't have a web site, so how is it going to mess up my web stats?

    Illegal, because someone decided to use clicks as their measurement? Why not make a better technology that doesn't suck so bad, instead of legislating?

    Did you just school me in pointing out that generalizations aren't 100% accurate? It's almost like to have a total accurate map of large numbers of people, the land would have to be the map. And the map would have to be as complex as land! OMG!

    There is always more one can do in an open society to try and persuade the leader not to choose a certain course. So on some level, everyone does have some blood on their hands. You have to decide if the amount of blood on your hands makes you want to do something about it or not. It not going to be possible to ever be completely innocent, unless you find a way to wage war without any innocents dying.

    No. I like the latter because it is backed by existing law.

    Hula could use existing law to limit viewing, but they don't want to inconvenience the viewers that they approve of.

    Hula is beholden to current laws, so they need to follow those rules. If they don't like those rules, they don't have to share or create content at all. Our country, our rules.

    If they want to use HTTP, then they are free to do so, but don't bitch because they don't know how to authenticate and authorize downloads.

    Hulu acts like a victim because they don't understand how the web works. I'm sorry that their idiots, but just because you're an idiot doesn't mean you get different rules.

    There is no hypocrisy here because Hulu is freely handing out their content and then trying to put conditions on it. Oops..too late hulu.

    The GPL even protects you against the content owner. If the content owner wants everyone to stop using his code, it is too late. The owner can stop licensing code as GPL, but the existing code is out there (just like the original ssh (now closed source) but the old versions are still available)

    Well, i think one could argue that if you take civilians from a country where their Leader doesn't care what they think and civilians from a country where civilians elect their officials, you just might be able to blame one set of civilians a slight bit more than the other set.

    A.) Can't vote. Dictator in power doesn't listen to opinion polls.

    B.) Can vote. Voted a known asshole into power. President in power listens to opinion polls.

    Why do they serve them up using a different URIs if they want them all served up at the same time? If you make them addressable independently, of course people will be able to only ask for one of the resources.

    Secondly, I don't believe in an afterlife. But that was for all the hypocrites that say they believe in the afterlife, but want to delay sin free people getting there. (ie: once they are born, they are born into sin and need it forgiven to get into heaven)

    Admittedly, there are some people who claim that the first embryonic cell has a soul, and, assuming that souls exist, you can follow the reduction without too much trouble.

    Admittedly if you think it has a soul, wouldn't you desire it to end up dead before it has a chance to suffer so it can go straight into the afterlife? Do you really want it to suffer in this material world when a glorious afterlife awaits or gamble with its eternal soul that it can dodge temptation and not end up in hell?

    Doesn't it make financial sense to only research into areas that are easily monetized?
