    If that wasn't a death kiss, nothing is. As i predicted, in 2 years flash will be a distant ( bad ) memory. And its Adobe's own damned fault really, they had the market, but threw it away by being pig headed.

    If they do make this move, it will kill the desktop where people are used to more control. In the phone market, i can see why its this way, and people are used to it. ( at least the ones that think rationally.. ). But extend this to the desktop/portable you can kiss the market good bye.

    And as an apple fan, id be jumping ship too.

    If not banning Windows, they should create a Chase-branded native Windows software client for their customers to use so they don't use a browser at all.

    Or send out OS boot cds :)

    You do lose some ( ok, most ) freedoms while serving your country, and with the risks involved in 'blog activity' i don't really see a big deal with restricting it.

    Can blog all you want when you get home.

    Well of course they are dropping it, they can charge their users more this way. Sounds like every other 'data provider' out there.

    But when the golden goose is long since dead and cooked, they will wonder where all their customers went and why no one gets online anymore.

    You may feel strongly enough to act, but are you willing to die? Ok, you are, but what about your families? In some cases that is what this will cause, fatal retribution ( or financial, burn your house, your parents house.. ). *Forcing* people to publish their name is wrong, giving them the option is ok.

    This is a bad thing and will only increase government power as people will be afraid to act.

    That is a problem right there if you are wanting to boot from the infected drive THEN test.. If you can boot off the USB too, why not just boot off USB, then connect/share via SMB to a machine in your shop that has all the scanning stuff and do it from there?
