It wont matter what crime. just beacuse they are in a bad mood they will hit the button. "they called me names, go search their home and toss them in jail"
I wonder if the big red button will allow searches and seizures and jail without anything to back it up.
I don't think "unlimited" plans ever made much sense because some people will abuse it.
So? That is how EVERYTHING works, why should i have be penalized due to someone else not behaving? this works with bandwidth as much as it does with free speech or right to bear arms, or privacy walking down the street.
And i disagree that they didn't make sense. Meeter use is what doesn't make sense. *especially* as the ISPs via their content divisions are trying to get you to use more data every day.. streaming this and streaming that...
And we want some of whatever it is you are smoking:) While it would be nice and logically should be that way, that isn't where the world is heading. Now that people are 'hooked' on data they are going to milk us dry.
Unfortunately, all musicians are not computer savvy and they certainly do not like messing around with getting software working in the studio.
Right, they want to make music, not futz with the computer equipment. That is what the studio IT guy is for. The equipment should 'just work', so they can 'just play'.
Totally agree with that. Zappa would care less about the 'political' side of computing and would just demand the best tool to do his job, and cost or openness wouldn't even factor into the equation.
And no, Montana was NOT about mac users.. What the hell is he smoking?
Good luck with that. So, if I am in public I should expect that anything I do not be recorded, talked about or written about? I do not know how you expect to enforce that.
It has been recorded and archived for years ( decades even ) now.. Just today it is becoming more practical to mine the data. We are all screwed.
And right there is the problem. Its how the entire legal system gets away with crap like this and attorneys get richer and richer, without even going to court and proving their case.
The last place i was at was where we did this on a large scale we were running oracle apps at the client. Moving to thin client reduced our network use a ton. ( and saved us from having to update our workstations.. why client/server apps need higher end workstations i still beyond me and sort of defeats the purpose. )
Sure if all your users do is browse pretty pictures on the internet it might not help much, but sticking to regular productivity apps will.
VDI should help in either case, working on a POC now.
I tend to agree. Everyone knows the rules upfront. Everyone knows the reasons apple has given for the restrictions.
If you don't like their rules or don't morally agree with Apple's rational, then don't develop for apple media devices. ( note you can still develop for the 100% open Apple computer hardware.. Remember these are NOT computers they are phones.. )
If they are the ONLY game in town we can talk again, but until/if that happens, just go code for another phone platform.

Or you can't visit relatives in Ohio after you get one.
They want to 'develop' into a fascist state off the bad and skip that whole messy democracy stuff
Right, it is actually cheaper to utilize a higher % then let it sit. That is how you recoup your investment.

I'm sure the dude at demotivationals has that already. Now, don't you feel depressed? Go buy a T-shirt.
True, but when was the last time the PO did their job?
So you are the bastard that got the black vans to my house when i had that wireless problem !!!!! potus my ass!!!
So what difference does it really make?
What your are talking about is vastly different then a single guy making a WAG what your speed is.
Your example is accurately measuring the speed using 2 reference points.. taking a guess as suggested in the story is nothing near that.
Better idea: Boycott Ohio until they get a clue.

As much as i hate to say this, perhaps congress needs to get involved. That is what our government is for, to protect is from garbage like this.
and if you cancel, you get charged for early termination.
They call non-destructive duplication of (multimedia) data theft..

1 - We hate apple beacuse they are closed ( but predicable )
2 - We hate android beacuse its not predictable ( but open )
Cant have it both ways...
Oh, and #3 - We hate windows phones, just beacuse..

Get rid of fat clients, that will do wonders to reduce your network bandwidth needs out to the customer. Then beef up the datacenter network.

Steve cares more about Flash's ( lack of ) performance. If Flash wasn't such a resource hog/security risk, you would see it on Apple media devices
More like 'slowass'.
