At this point in the game, virtualizing isn't a big deal. Its the suite of management tools aimed at the enterprise which separates the amateurs from the big boys.
Lets hope sun can step up to the plate and compete, and still stay in the OSS world in the process.
Which is pretty much everyone. Good move. Make us all presumed criminals.
Once this signed into law, when does the random stopping of people with earphones on the street demanding proof of purchase for contents of their ipods and searching laptops start?
Im so glad we have taken care of all the real problems in the world and can waste my tax dollars protecting an outdated cartel from themselves.
Don't they have a network map? If its got an IP, and they know it ( which is implied here ) they can narrow it down to a physical location and work from there floor by floor, room by room.
Great. So now you never know who is watching you, so you are afraid of everyone.
Sounds like early nazi germany to me.
The rest of their business is what holds them up. For them linux is a tool not an 'end game' for them.
But its the safest way
And i wasn't slamming the GPL, it has its place. But in a corporation that wants to make lots of $, it isn't there.
I disagree. At this phase usability and guaranteed support is the key.
The smartest thing to do would be build upon FreeBSD, then they wont have that pesky GPL getting in the way of their work.
Get a bunch of theoretical physicists together and security is the last thing on their minds.
And if im just idling standing by look at the birds ( be it in the park or online ) no one has a right to know.

Her wealth insured she could afford an attorney and get a 'fair' trial, and be sure her rights were preserved.
If she was poor, she would just be out of luck and would have to smile as she got screwed dry.
