    If i dont let you peek into my home its beacuse i didnt agree to it as a condition of surrender.. Saddam did agree to this. When he started playing games its logical to asume shady activity was going on. Letting inspectors into specially 'cleansed' areas does not qualify as 'opening the doors' in my opinion. ( and many others )

    I am willing to accept that perhaps it was all just a scam on his part to make people believe he had something he didnt, to try to pretend he had some power and taunt the world community in general. He still deserved to have his country leveled in either case.

    oh, i agree we have lost too many American lives over it. We should have nuked the country and been done with it. All this pussyfooting around, so as not to offend people, or hurt some idiotic house of worship is ludicrous. Its a damned war, the only goal is to win.

    Dont forget the entire UN agreed with what was going on, and since you all simply want to bash Bush, dont forget that this ( apparently wrong ) intelligence was around long before Bush was around. And Saddam was refusing to let people in to inpect, which to any logical person would indicate someting wrong was going on. Plus it was a violation of his agreements which automaticaly authorized action, regardless of existance of any WMD type technology.

    You people make me sick. Get over your loss and move on. Or better yet, get the hell out.

    Ill try to find the statement, but they did say that they were done with macoffice and there would not be any more releases. ( notice there hasnt been for some time now )

    Has that changed since then? Sure its possible, but the last thing *I* read was no more.

    In the real world war is a fact of life. Ignore that and you will be conquered in no time flat.

    And it looks like, generations later, our army is still volunteer based. Ite nice that they still have a place to call home. As long as people want to stand up and fight for their country there will be an "army". And there needs to be a centralized permanent command structure to count on.

    Oh, and just try being effective with the worry your family wont have a house to live in, or food to eat while you are away. Not being compensated is ludicrous.

    They have an out, there is no QoS in your 'home service' contract. 'speeds may vary', 'up to xxmb', 'subject to change without notice', etc.

    Unless you have a commercial contract with QoS you are outta luck, legally.

    Its because the ISP cant handle the use, regardless of the user paying extra fees. They have oversold what they can do.

    I have the same problem here. Recently they 'increased' bandwidth to us for our *unlimited* useage, but complained when we used it: 'its effecting our other customers '. WTF?

    Does unix *need* it? No, but the reality is most of us live in mixed environments.

    If we can create one 'universal virtual package' for all platforms, and manage it from a *single* tool, that would be good.

    While this is nice, personally Id rather see SVS or Softgrid get extensions to support non windows OS's. That way you still have your 'enterprise' management tools.

    I dont care if you belive in creationism or not, the idea that we were wandering around with dinosaurs is ludicrous. Why cant there be room for evolution in 'gods plan'?

    Sure we can debate until we are blue in the face what actually started this mess we call the universe, since NO ONE knows the truth yet, but i dont see why 90% of the rest of the scientific discoveries cant be embraced by the religous kooks without their god going up in a poof of logic. If their god is that subject to being sent out of existance via logic, its time to find another thing to believe in.
