Great, now I've just wasted 15 minutes of my morning pondering business cards. So here's my 2 cents: I generally hate having business cards handed to me because this almost always occurs after we've already had an email or phone exchange. I'ts just massaging your ego at this point. As for handing out cards, well... I'm not in sales and I don't usually appreciate (nearly) cold calls, so there. I still have boxes of cards from 3 jobs ago. But then I'm the anti social, non-networking type. I just can't think of many instances where a business card would be preferable to a Google search, for me.

One of the most common end user problems seems to be people not knowing where their files are or how to tell which program opens which kind(s) of files. Most of us here take this stuff for granted but it's amazing how many people, including young people who grew up with PCs, don't know where their files are or how to organize them. MS tried and FAILED to address with their ridiculous "My This" and "My That" system which just obfuscates things further.

... one of those little Atom based mini PCs on each end. They are truly tiny and you can get versions for under $300 each. Now they even have dual core models.

Stuff the PCs in a cabinet and hook them up to a wall mounted flat screen monitor with built-in speakers and a USB Camera(wide angle)/Mic attached. The bigger the monitor you use, the more "telepresence" you'll experience. You can get a 20" for $120 or less. Then just run Skype w/video, 24/7.

I'd recommend this setup over a netbook or laptop solution because a) Most laptops really can't handle running 24/7, b) netbooks probably can't either and the screens are too small, c) this is not that expensive... maybe six or seven hundred if you really shop around, and d) You will loose no (or very little) counter space.

If you plan to suspend/resume these PCs, make sure your camera & mic solution will work after resume. Sometimes they don't.

I disagree. I love my e-paper reader but the slow page turn is annoying and does slow me down. Reading paper, I generally have a page half turned part way through the last paragraph. Page turns are much. much quicker.

Also I think I have more of a tendency to read every word on an e-book page as opposed to frequently skimming through words on paper. I often flip back a paper page if I realize I skipped something important but cost to do so on an e-paper device seems to high, time wise.
