    GS: When you say new ideas don't go anywhere, what kind of new ideas do you mean? Have you seen any that maybe popped up and fell flat?

    CC: I haven't even seen any new ideas pop up. The industry is so completely inbred that the people working in it aren't even capable of coming up with new ideas anymore.

    From another source ... could affect ATI's most direct competitor (nVidia) a lot - the merger would create a company who has the capacity to create good CPU's, good chipsets and good GPU's. By combining their resources, it opens things up for AMD and ATI to really take on Intel and nVidia in a big way and increase their market share in a range of different product segments.

     
    It would be very interesting to see this merger go thru ... could mean good things for gamers :-)

    In short, it appears as though Sony plans to offer for free what Microsoft is currently charging for, and that could be a big plus ... it could convince many gamers that the PS3's expense is more reasonable

    Get Charged up front or have an optional fee later on? Hmmm ... PS3 better be incredible ... otherwise this will be another victory for MSFT.

    Yeah, but this spreads via your Yahoo! contact list ... and thus I received this worm email "from" one of my friends ... so it's not just coming from random accounts, it's coming from people who have you in their contact list.

    Damn ... I opened an email like this yesterday ... the reason being was because it was "from" one of my friends (they were marked as the sender). As soon as it opened I knew I f!cked up ... per a Javascript popup window shooting up ... grrr ...

    Nice site ... but there's no 3D Work on there? I click on 3D Work and get ... Sorry, this area of the site is still under construction. It will include renders of 3D work which I have done, mainly for various mods for games.

    New idea ... finish the site, then advertise :-P

    They were able to visualize the areas in which there was no sound at all. The two researchers used white noise -- hissing similar to what you might hear on an un-tuned FM radio -- because it's the most complex sound available, with exactly the same amount of energy at all frequency levels.

    Kinda ironic that the most complex sound is no sound at all?
