Perhaps you should lobby Congress to pass stricter laws to enforce protection of your/. posts. That'll learn those evil anonymous cowards. (What have they got to hide, anyway? They're probably pinko commies.)
The Dreamcast really ought to be in the 4th generation list. Just because it's dead now doesn't mean that its hardware was any less impressive that the PS2- in fact, most people would say that the Dreamcast looked much better than the PS2. Damn shame Sega's console division went tits up./me huggles his Dreamcast
the protocol supports (insecurely) putting your user and pass into the address bar, for instance the URL:
ftp://user:pass@domain.com
Will automatically log you into and display the directory at domain.com. It's a useful and used part of the standard that's not going away any time soon.
More beauracracy has always helped in the past. Let's make sure that all software has to be approved by a baroque panel of arbitrary, disaffected drones. Software quality is sure to skyrocket!
So you signed with out a petitioner present. Then what happened? The petition fairies magiced it away to Issa's office?
Somebody got permission of the building owner to put it there. Somebody picked up and delivered the signed sheets. Somebody verified they were legit. Somebody got paid.
How about some enterprising cracker writes a virus that spreads out and shares the mp3 files of the victims. Keep the client to surf this network seperate.
You don't get control of how much bandwidth and files you share, but you get plausable deniability. Hey, it's a virus - and your virus checker was just out of date. Shucks.
Actually, a great many online storefronts use the Yahoo store as thier backend. It's a lot cheaper than doing it yourself for the small time crowd, and Yahoo handles the messy credit card details. So I wouldn't exactly call it their "least compelling feature". Their near useless search holds that crown in my mind.
How about, "should somebody who isn't familiar with the issues be responsible for teaching them?" Seriously, this could also spin off into "should the largely technologically illiterate Congress be making laws about technology?" and other topics that shine light onto the pressing concerns that have been the cause of umteen YRO articles.
How does that work? Everything that I've seen for this waiver requires >0% disability. Can you email me at slashdot at protobofh dot net, I'm really curious as my dad was USAF for 20 years and I'm going through school with loans now. Thanks.
So I'm toally out of the running? Damn! Another lonely Valentine's day shall be my curse!
We all know that's true,
Poets can take liberties.
You still get the point.
My sweet Linux box
It feels no pain from your lame

I beleive dotster offers this for free, but you have to re-sign-up for it every time you renew your domain.
While you're editing it, you should probably change then to than. HTH. HAND.
Mozilla Firebird -> Preferences -> Web Features -> Fonts and Colors
Not exactly hidden.
from the no-more-typing-URLs dept.
Based on the dept. line, I'd guess so.

That's not illegal. You can do damn near anything you'd like with public domain stuff, including sell it, sell licenses for it, etc.

After which they'll explain that they use Juniper equipment because it doesn't suck near as much as Cisco and you'll look like an ass.

Viva Google!
I really hope that one day I can start my own country and get the wn domain, so my email address can be sh@wn. That'd rule!
Next valentines day, maybe someone can hook thier geek lady up with "c@r.la".
As of this posting, crapo.la is still open. If only it wasn't way out of my vanity domain purchacing budget...
I haven't been able to connect to the sega sports servers ever (though I was trying 2k1 games in 2002-2003). Were they accessable at all after 2001?

Hmmm... maybe I'll look into becoming mentally ill.
It's not 32,000 games, it's 32K games. Games which fit in 32K.
But this machine will play them very quickly, as it's the fastest machine on the market.
And, you've got to admit, "Phantom" is the perfect name for a vaporware console.
