I saw a lady at work get picked up by her boyfriend once in his Tesla Model S. Anytime I hear people talk about it being a big luxury vehicle now, I can only remember this guy's car. He had it repainted a rainbow-y black, giant black spinner rims, windows tinted past the illegal limit, and all labels on the car painted black. Also the brake lights were tinted 100% black as well.

It seems like news on this is all over the place. A while back I remember there being "proof" of who the investors were (Saudis). Then that turned out to be untrue. Then originally I saw this story represented as Musk never intended on taking a deal. Then it changed to he was working on a deal, and said no. And now I've seen another article pop up saying something about him having proof of a deal ($420) with some Saudis that he backed out of.

I never had a huge urgent need for 2 day shipping, but it did get annoying when "free 5-8 shipping" meant that amazon wasn't going to ship to me until day 7 or midnight day 8. I've even had to complain 2 times about them not shipping until day 10 (with no holidays around at the time)

I had prime for a while recently and canceled it about 2 months ago. Suddenly my last order, 5-8 day shipping, mailed that evening with 1 day delivery? Nice to suddenly get, but it made me triple check my order, thinking I'd accidentally picked 1 day shipping somehow.

As far as Tesla goes, I've always found it funny to see the relations of those for or against the company. The pro-Tesla people are treated as fanatical maniacs who love and worship Musk, and have formed a crazed cult of insanity. Anyone not pro-Tesla is an evil short, wanting the company to die and people to lose their jobs so they can twirl their mustaches as they make money off of Tesla's failure.

It does make me suddenly wonder though. If Tesla completely went under.... I wonder how that would shape the future of some of the car companies that have to buy the EV credits from Tesla to keep selling cars in CA (and whatever states that adopted CA's laws).

  8. This morning I googled this again to see if articles had any other comments. One of the top ones that showed up on my work PC was (I forget where from) simply titled: "SEC says 420 was a pot reference." Ummm....... ok? I think most everyone already thought/assumed/knew that. 2. Is Tesla planning on selling these batteries to other EV makers?

I would imagine they'd only start selling the batteries if they felt like they were going to completely lose the car market. I do very much want to see more battery developments like what Tesla has been doing so far. Seeing it used as backup power in other countries seems interesting and possibly promising.
