  3. It is akin paying for a vacation, vs. getting a cheaper vacation but have to sit threw a time share presentation.

I used to not mind the time share stuff. Usually it was a really cheap to stay at a really nice place, and then not pay attention to a guy I eventually say no to. Or when I was a kid.... play free video games while my parents dealt with that.

But then came the point where my dad died. Literally 12 hours after his death I get a call asking for him. Tell the guy that he was my father, and he just died a few hours before. Guy's response: "Oh I'm sorry to hear that. I'm calling to see if you are interested in-" and that's where I told him to piss off and hung up.

I worked in a warehouse for a year or so. Many employees there were angry / insulted at being offered life insurance and 401k's. They would give a response of basically: "What the HELL would I want my money going to anything else for? It's MINE I want it now. How else am I gonna go get crunk every Friday after this place?" A guy with 3 kids was asking this.

What's so newsworthy about comedians mocking a small event? It's not like someone joked about decapitating Trump again. It's just: "Oh no, an alert noise! We're doing this? This annoying sound again! It's so annoying, EVERYONE LAUGH WITH ME."

I remember wondering after the movie, what's the point of continuing the rebellion? It seemed like their main group is gone and no other group is out there willing to do anything. The Empire is still a million times stronger than them. There is no hope. But of course I'm sure the final movie will have Rey the Messiah do something to win everything.

when Finn is prevented from sacrificing himself to save his friends, only to be sabotaged by some nutcase.

I don't get this at all. Her character was seeming to be set up as the "strong independent woman who does The Right Thing. Yet in the ending of the movie she chooses to potentially sacrifice everyone's life to hopefully maybe escape with Finn somehow. Her whole intro in the movie was "How dare you save yourself and leave everyone to die" then she just does the same thing at the ending (or arguably worse, Finn was running away from a hopeless situation... she literally destroyed their one hope).

I thought this was a joke when I saw the article earlier this morning. I can understand them saying "political motivation" due to the "how dare you do SJB crap" some people are saying about non white and also colorful hair characters.... But at the same time, most everyone that I know that saw the movie considers it between "awful" and "ok." At best it was an ok summer action popcorn movie not worth more than one watch.
